Are you tired of overpaying for single and multifamily properties in an overheated market? Investing in self-storage is an overlooked alternative that can accelerate your income and compound your wealth!

With the popularity of real estate investing causing an unprecedented stampede to the housing market, smart investors are now turning to self-storage. There are more than 54,000 self-storage facilities in the United States - equivalent to the total number of Starbucks, McDonald’s, and Subway restaurants combined - and a large percentage of these can be profitably upgraded to operate or sell.

In this comprehensive overview, self-storage fund manager Paul Moore will teach you how to profitably acquire, operate, and sell storage unit facilities of all sizes. Get in front of your competition while you can - and build a multigenerational income machine!

Inside, you'll learn:

  • The little-known strategy used by operators to generate more than 40 percent annual returns
  • Ten surprising tax benefits for commercial self-storage investors - and why many investors pay zero taxes
  • How to locate a mom-and-pop self-storage asset in the path of growth
  • How to succeed in self-storage without quitting your day job or abandoning your retirement
  • Four powerful strategies to build a self-storage empire

Incredible Book on Self Storage!

This is the best book written on the topic of Self Storage Investing! But it’s more than that, it’s one of the best overall commercial real estate books I’ve ever read. The author does a phenomenal job at breaking down all the different strategies and nuances that exist in self storage and commercial real estate. Whether you’re a beginner or have decades under your belt, I truly believe you will find something in this book that will help you in your real estate journey.

An excellent and informative read!

Will read this again as the content and context were so qualitative. Self Storage unit introduction, self storage industry overview and perspective, commercial real estate investing advantages and benefits were all covered. Info for seasoned and newbie investors.

good not great

it seems like this book was written more for self-storage syndicators. not the individual investor who wants to own self storage by themselves. not quite the book I was looking for, but still good for the bigger investors.

High-level

I was hoping for a more thorough manual on how to break into self storage. There was some solid information, however it was mostly high level and a lot of the book was focused on syndication or passively investing, along with stories which I felt were not really useful. I was looking for a more direct education outlining how to develop land or acquire and improve a mom and pop. There was really only a chapter on each strategy - those chapters had some great info that I found valuable, but lacked follow up detail. For example, it talks about adding Uhaul rentals as ancillary revenue, which is great insight. But it doesn’t explain what it actually requires to set this up. For someone looking for high-level intro there are useful insights, but I felt 85% of the book left a lot of questions on how to actually execute.
