Oh that ending!

Shadow is my man! The hurt he experienced and the hurt he caused from not being able to face a lifetime of trauma. I really hope in the next books they all get the HEA they truly deserve, but I have no doubt it will be an uphill battle. I listened to this omnibus book 2 and again Troy can read me anything, anytime. 🤤

Beautiful, but heartbreaking 😭

I think I'm dying 😭 I have no idea how long I've been crying. It's definitely been over an hour now. As soon as I think I've got it together... Nope! 😭 how was this the sweetest most beautiful thing, but it also tore my still beating heart from my chest, threw it on the ground, and ran it over?? I am an absolute DISASTER! 😭 But.... Literally ALL THE STARS! This series now lives in my soul 🖤

Shadow is the man of the hour.

What is it about a sweet attractive man who because of childhood trauma, is a dark lost soul waiting for the tenderness of a loving woman? It is a trope that appears in many a MC novel; but Crystal Ash handles it masterfully with the character of Shadow. I am looking forward to the next chapters after this one.

Rich characters, descriptive environment, Amazing narration

This series creates a very interesting world. I love most of the characters, but they were over the top creepy with the amount the men worshipped Mari. She was lackluster and ordinary. She was not enough (no one is) to satisfy ALL 4 men. I mean seriously! Books would have been better if some of the men had there own women. They were far too strong and alpha to just accept the time she gave them. That is not realistic. I felt especially bad for Shadow! He could not catch a break! I lost all respect for Reaper! He was ridiculous on how fast he turned on Shadow (so much for brotherhood & family) and what he did to him!!! He shouldn’t have been punished or had to apologize for a nightmare HE COULD NOT HELP! They should have asked how they could help. All because of her! She was only worried about getting some! I hope Shadow rises from the ashes and tells them all to screw themselves!! So heartbroken for him😔😔
