For some strange reason, every summer, they send him and his little brother down South to spend time with their grandmother, an elderly Native American woman living in a small house on the edge of a small town. No one has ever told Wilson the reason his parents continuously send the two boys there. The only thing Wilson knows is that while he's there he's forced to take care of his 100-year-old Great Grandmother.

Well worth the wait
We waited a while for # 4 to be released and it was worth waiting. A great series narrated by the greatest narrator in the history of audio books. A great ending to a great series.

A small complaint
As the fourth book in the series I knew what I was getting with this book. Yet I don’t know what changed but I felt Mr Porter’s narration was just too slow this time. I had no issue with the previous books but this time it was ruining the story for me. I had to set the speed to 1.2x and that fixed it.
With that out of the way I enjoyed the story as normal. Thanks to the author and to the narrator for a fine story.

The losses and the ending are heart wrenching and happy. Kept me on the edge of my seat!
I loved 99% of the book and only didn't like some of the losses in thr book. it was amazing!
