Not smart

I haven’t read or listened to any of the other books in this series. So this is based on hearing this book without other context. I don’t find the investigators in this book to be smart or savvy. I was constantly talking to the two main characters in my head out of frustration. The length of time it to them to think of basic things like: Maybe there’s a security camera here. Or maybe the bad guy wasn’t being honest with his personal information!

I honestly am not sure why I finished it, but it didn’t get better. It turns out the bad guy was pretty stupid too.

The narration was ok but some of the characters sounded way too cliche. Some parts were hard to listen to.
