Hooked on Shannon Mayer
While I enjoyed the story the performance was not up to the same level as all other Shannon Mayer novels. D. G. Swank part of the story was not as passionate as Mayer and the performance sounded a bit automated.

Great Start!
Silver Staked was a great break from some of the heavier stuff I usually read but it still has a lot of action to hold my interest.
I really enjoyed that both of the heroines are written as strong women and not indecisive shrinking violets.
I'll definitely be finishing the series.

Nice story for us feminist!
This was an exciting tale of two strong women, which gave me a thrill, because I always love to see women empowered. However, I admit that the feminine comes out because I do love romances and there’s none in this book-maybe that’s for future stories. I’ve always been a fan of Ms. Poole. Both ladies did an excellent job of narration.

A fabulous read!
Well what in the banana hammock?! (Face plans) Just when I think Shannon and Denise couldn’t confuse the crap out of me.... I was wrong. Haha. But it’s a totally good thing. I love them separately but together, sweet cheese and crackers.
This story almost gave me a heart attack, or three! And a bucket of laughs. Lea and Rachel are not your normal kind of friends. They’re tossed together by accident. They’re both in this for a long, hard fight.
Vampires are on the prowl. Vampires are dying. And the baddest vampire in the world is on a mission to stop it all. Rachel, a reporter used to being in the thick of thieves and danger, is on a mission to find out why people are dying in her city. The next thing she knows...she’s in the thick of it.
They’re running out of time to stop the madness from spreading.
