Lana really knows her stuff!!! and when it comes to shifter stories she's got these in the bag to. wowza...its a rough story to start I will give u that but you will not regret getting through the hole thing!!! its so dang good!!! worth every minute!!!

Slow Burn with Cool Plot

If you're looking for hot and steamy, you won't find it here. This is definitely a SLOW BURN. So if you are coming here for a boil, don't get mad when you find out it's a slow simmer. Instead, enjoy a REALLY fascinating dive into a unique Paranormal drama. 18 year-old Loren is an abused and troubled teen suddenly saddled with an inexplicable obsession with her local law man, Bill McGoven. The object of her obsession is a werewolf, who tries to protect her from the violent trajectory her abused life has ordained her to, only to set them both on a united path, fraught with danger, power, and passion. This is melodrama. And it's GOOD. The narrators bring the story to life. Seriously. You don't want to miss this one.

Can’t Wait For Book 2!

I loved the book! It was a little different than most but in a good way. I couldn’t put it down until it was over. Now I can’t wait to hear book 2. It can’t come soon enough!

This is the 1st book in The Black Mountain Pack series and it already has me wanting more. PNR, alpha, beautiful, chemistry, drama and adventure.

Audible/arc Review

For honest Review. Loren Conner has had a ruff past now she finds herself in more trouble .when officer bill McGoven finding himself stepping in he now need to make some decisions. Fantastic beautiful story

good story

the story was great. but the female narrowing it sounded like she was about to orgasm all the time and her voice didn't match was was happening in the book.

Decent, but unfinished

This story has a uniqueness to it. It has potential, but in reality nothing really happens and gets resolved in this story. Without reading book 2 I can already sense these could have been shortened and smooshed together. Predictable what does happen. The audio voicing is juvenile, but okay. What I think is her wolf voicing is weird. 13+ for abuse and kissing only.

Unique Story with Great Narration

This is an interesting spin on a werewolf paranormal romance. The world is fully fleshed out. The romance is a slow burn, and I found that I greatly enjoyed the refreshing way that the characters do not fall into insta-love.

Narration duet is really great, and I look forward to the next book.

Not for me apparently

I just couldn't get over the age and life stage difference between the two lead characters. The idea of Luca with a high school student is so cringe. And I realize there's a small amount of backstory for it, but the way he acts towards her initially is pretty unacceptable and she seems very stockholm-ish. I didn't find the characters believable or identifiable so I won't continue the series. I listen to this on Audible and had some issues with the way they split up the male female roles. I enjoy dual narrators but not the way it was handled in this book.
