Good story

Loved the story, I felt as if though I lived through it. I was crumby the end of the book.

I love each the the books in this series. Was a sad but happy ending to a great story about the life of this Shield Maiden.

Fitting conclusion

I am sad to see Harvor’s story come to an end, I have loved the Shield-Maiden series! In this final book Harvor is settled in to her new life as Queen and is happily raising her children while training the new generation of Shield-Maidens and bringing welcome improvements to her new home. She thinks she will live out her happily ever after but the gods aren’t done with her yet. Loki has other plans and the third tragedy of the dwarfen sword still hasn’t come to pass. Under the Dark Moon is action packed, full of triumphs and heartbreak. This is a series I would highly recommend for any fantasy-historical fiction fans!

Perfect endings

So many series will leave you unsatisfied with the ending. I loved the conclusion of this series of books. Thank you for this entire experience.

Brilliant and bittersweet conclusion to this amazing series!!
I absolutely could not wait for more of Hervor's story. By far one of my favorite viking tales to date, the characters are amazing, the story is phenomenal and the writing completely immerses you in the story! From the very 1st book till this last one, I loved every minute and every page. I am just so sad this journey is now over.
The audio narration is also well read, very enjoyable and a perfect fit for this story!

Wonderful Conclusion

Unlike the books before, this is a legacy book, The book spans the rest of the Shield-Maiden's life. And it doesn't go the way she or any reader expected.
At first, I was somewhat bored with the story, but it picks up and ends with a bang. I felt the character's story was completely wrapped up, and I was pleased with how it ended.
The narrator is awesome as always.
Give this book some time to get started; you won't be disappointed!

That Ending!!

I finished this entire series in a few days. You grow to love the characters and I'm only sorry it ended.
The ending, while gut wrenching, was absolutely perfect. I'm going to go blow my nose and wash my face now.

Really enjoyed listening to this story! The life of love and hate. To follow generation after generation! Narrator makes the story come alive!

Honestly, story is fine. A little too much talking, not enough fighting for my taste but still entertaining.
But for the LOVE OF THOR, get a thesaurus! Not since 'moist' have I disliked a word more, this time simply due to overuse.
