Publisher's summary

People say I'm shameless. They're right.

I like my sex dirty. It takes a hell of a lot to tilt my moral compass, and I always follow when it's pointing at something I want. That goes double when it points straight at the one girl in all of Chicago who's not dying for a piece of me.

She's all I can think about, and that's a problem, because she wants nothing to do with me. But I've seen her deepest secrets, her darkest fantasies, and they match mine to a fucking T.

I want her. Bad.

Now I need to show her how good it can feel...to be shameless.

Contains mature themes.

More erotica then romance. *triggers for abuse*

The book was not bad but it wasn't what I was expecting. Being classified as a romance I thought there would be more romance then sex. However, the opposite was true. The book was made up almost entirely of sex. The actual non-sexual interaction would have barely made up one chapter and less then a dozen pages. This book should have been classified as erotica instead. That way readers would know what to expect going into it and reviews from disappointed readers like myself could be avoided. It actually got so bad that every time they had sex I rolled my eyes and groaned because it was just too much. So much that after a while you become desensitized to the scenes and start fast forwarding thru them. On top of that it was the kind of sex that I personally, don't care for. Where the woman consents to be treated roughly, forcibly gagged during oral sex, humiliated, called names that are usually said by misogynistic men who consider women nothing more then tool. More then once she states that she enjoys being treated like that. *Warning* This book will be a major trigger for anyone who has been a victim of abuse or rape. It's that bad. Nothing on the cover of the book alerts the unsuspecting to this, so I'm saying it now. It was also disappointing because Jane was so wishy washy and barely stood up for herself. I kept waiting for her to grow a back bone and tell Chance to hit the road but she never did. *spoiler* The other thing the blurb doesn't tell you is Chance is a male stripper (that's how they meet) and he continues to strip even after he and Jane "fall in love". Then he dumps her after she sees him at her cousins birthday party performing by rubbing against her cousin, letting women lick whipped cream off his body, etc. and she gets upset. She asks him if he'd ever stop then he gets mad about it and storms out. Personally, I'd say good riddance. But even after he has his "ah ha" moment then comes back he does it acting like a total jerk and she just caves. I hate it when stories do that. Make him suffer for a while at least. Don't tell him "I think I can get used to it if you'll just stay." Ugh! So, this particular book of Gina Maxwell is not for me. Not to say that someone else may not enjoy it, just not me. Again, keep in mind the book is 95% sex 5% romance. If this appeals to you then go for it. If you're looking for more romance try Gina's Fighting for Love series. Especially Seducing Cinderella. I promise you will enjoy that series more. It's the one that got me hooked on Gina's writing.
