Gerat book, Very entertaining,

Don't let the commies get you down. its so obvious they call each other and suggest a bad review. They all come together, they mostly say the same thing.

Do Buy the book. its good.

Good story—too short

I LOVE CJ Box and Joe Pickett stories. But this may be my least favorite. The whole thing felt rushed, and anti-climatic, somehow. I’m disappointed—it the first time I’ve ever given CJ Box anything less than 5 stars.

Another amazing adventure

David Chandler is Joe Pickett. What a great narrator.

This volume in the Joe Pickett series is a stunner. We took some great twists and turns in this book. I love the inclusion of a Marybeth centered drama that shows off her incredible intellect and uncanny deductive reasoning. Lots of interaction with the kids, and Nate's young family. Nates journey to reclaim his airforce is intense and unrelenting.

I don't want to have to wait for the new book. I need it now.

Another great listen

Always enjoy these books, never a dull moment!! Can’t wait to hear if Joe becomes a sheriff or his wife does!

Joe should stick with being a game warden.

Struggled with the whole antifa and blm thing, then I thought if Nazis were in it, why not. I like Joe Pickett as a game warden.

Not long enough.

When it ended, I was so disappointed because I wanted more. And it's the last book in the series. it will be an eternity until I "see" Joe any Mary Beth Pickett again. What am I going to do now?

One of the best in the series

I find it hard to believe people who write they can't stand the narrator, the book is not up to standards and they have read every book.
David Chandler has narrated every book.
Same guy
Sam narrator
Same 5 star performance and now you and your liberal wife who also has never listened to this book can't stand his voice.
By the way, I felt this book was one of the best in the series.
You and your politics can't destroy this author.
To be fair, do not like the TV series.
The author gave into the woke culture.

Realism

Two evils are met by Nate and Joe. Luckily, good overcomes evil. The reality of this story is overwhelming.
