Needs an editor
Plot had an interesting story line with good placement of twists, but lacked depth. Phrasing and specific words (ie malevolent) were very repetitive and could benefit from a good editor. Book could be great if more details of actual actions and conversations betweens characters and shadows were laid out. Instead, plot just magically jumped along.. Enjoyed narrator's voicing very much.
