Publisher's summary

Death waits in the shadows, stalking my every move.

Family is everything. So when my sister ran away to be with her new boyfriend, I chased after her.

A strange, crimson-eyed man attacked me within minutes of my arrival, only to bring me my destiny.

Alex, an arrogant, handsome flirt, saved me. No matter how hard we try to fight our connection, we're drawn to each other.

While he reluctantly agrees to help me, I discover a terrifying new world filled with creatures that shouldn't be real; shifters; vampires; angels; witches; and so much more. I'm surrounded by supernaturals with even a silver wolf and her mate sheltering me.

Every minute I'm in Shadow Terrace becomes increasingly more dangerous, but I’ll risk everything to save my sister.

Even if it means turning my back on the man who could possibly complete my soul.

This one has it all!

A wildly entertaining narrator, a story that encompasses vampires, love bonds, more supernaturals than you can shake a stick at, political intrigue & corruption and even Fratricide (brother killing brother) it really is the whole ball of wax.

Written quite well, it’s entertaining and Did Not have one spot that lagged or bored me. I really liked it. Kudos to all involved.

So good! I really like this series.

Silver wolf was a great start and this one kept it going. I love how the series and characters all tie in so well. Can’t wait to read Demon Wolf. Downloading it now.

Another good trilogy

I love the link between the supernatural races and how they tie in. I do wish the men were a little more equal. I understand making the women strong but I still think the men need to be alphas in their own right. Other then that love it and will be starting the next trilogy soon.

ALL NARRATORS READ!!!!!! k know it's long but

they are goid books, not her best but definitely enjoyable. Now Narrators for the love of everything holy when you start in the middle of a series like this please read, and listen too the previous books, it can make or break a series. for example Amy Landon is a good narrator I've heard her on other books, but the president, and personalities for these characters has already been set, and when your listening and not watching something the voicing controls everything the difference In narrators In these too trilogies almost ruined it for me again not amy Landon personally I like her just fine on other books, if I wasn't a truck driver with nothing better to do, and easily entertained on top of that, I wouldn't have made it past the first chapter. I guess what I'm saying is for one the ppl that make these into audiobooks need to be better at keeping narrators for an entire series, and cause things do happen and sometimes it's unavoidable narrators when you come into the middle of a series, be honest and honor your art and your craft it's not a good fit pass it up plz, and go on too the next opportunity. it's just like acting not evert actor can play any role in any movie they want they have to fit the role to sell it, and narrating in my opinion is harder cause all you have is your voice to build and portray things and multiple roles to keep up with as well.

“Oh H*ll no”

It was good enough. The narrator was great. No, she was phenomenal. I’m 95% sure she is why I made it through and these books didn’t end on the DNF shelf and why it got 3 stars and not less.

Also, there’s apparently books that come before this trilogy? I didn’t know that. I probably won’t go and read them. This book was interesting in premise and in the beginning actually seemed full of promise: It had a “blood is thicker than water” family dynamic, as well as the lost and displaced person finds their “true home.” It was all wrapped up in political corruption and Betrayal. Love and friends in unexpected places…. The ingredients were all there for one excellent story. Except…. The repetition! 3 books, yes three, of:

MC: “you stay here. Don’t get hurt.”
FC: “Oh hell no. You don’t get to make choices for me.”
MC: “please I’ll be distracted if I’m worrying about you.”
FC: “fine I’ll stay.”
*****MC goes to fight******

FC: “oh what if he needs me?!”

*****runs to get involved****

(((Fight ends)))

MC “I told you to stay!”
FC: “oh hell no, I’m a strong independent woman I make my own decisions. You don’t get to tell me what I can and can’t do.”

Again. And again. Aaaaand again. Seriously the thing I’ll remember most about this trilogy is the phrase: “oh hell no.”

Terrible

I tried to listen to this. A dozen times. I tried to listen to it while doing really tedious work with dirty, gloved hands so I couldn't turn it off. In ended up knocking off my headphones in frustration. A reviewer said it best before me. It's a rinse and repeat of "Stay here, I'll worry, you're fragile." " Oh no! I'm an independent woman, and he needs me in this fight!" idiodicy.

It’s ok

Listen to sliver wolf first. Second this one was ok. It could’ve been so much better. Lots of holes that weren’t filled. I prefer the sliver wolf over this one.
