Fitting Title

The first half of the book I struggled to stay focused and felt like it relied too much on other books written by this author. However, beginning chapter 8, about halfway through, it all started to come together. It was also in this second half, that the title of the book became most fitting. It all built up to the techniques for self empowerment that I found very useful. I have studied coaching and empowerment quite extensively and felt this book had a great deal to add to my toolbox. I highly recommend this read/listen.

The narrator also did a great job, but I DID have to giggle every time she said Amygdala.

Wonderful Insight!

I was delighted by the content of this audiobook. Sometimes, I feel like books about self-coaching can be intricate and hard to follow, especially in audiobook form. However, Dr. Wallace was able to explain the connections with self-coaching, neuroadaptability, and Ayurveda concisely and gracefully. I'm excited to take what I learned in the audiobook into practice!

Well done and crystal clear! Wellness must have.

I loved the simplicity of this book as it brought to light tools for living that enliven body, mind, and soul. This book is accompanied by a PDF that consolidates all the information in an easy-to-use format. I found this helpful as I often listen to these books in my car and want to jot down highlights to remember. This did that work for me, thanks.
The book talks about Ayurveda and the Doshas and renames them as energy types. This makes the information palpable to those that may find these concepts hard to digest (pun intended) in Western societies.
The book outlines all the ways our energy types affect the way we function, when they work well and when they don't, and outlined ways we can improve the function of all the levels we interact with this energy and each other. They used fun examples as case studies of what good and difficult interactions look like so understanding can develop of how this look in real life. The book then outlines real tools we can use for effective communication within and outside our own energy type and on the various levels we respond (employee, parent, etc.).
This resource also addresses diet, meditation, daily routines, and more that guide us to health on all the levels we function. This is a wonderful book that I hope spurs a deeper desire to learn as it did for me.
Thank you for this information.
Becky
