Terrific Book
I absolutely loved this book. As someone who came out of a mentally abusive marriage to a narcissistic man, I have learned so much from this book and what a great relationship SHOULD be about. I have struggled with communication issues as a result of my previous marriage, and this book was recommended to me by a friend. It has tremendously helped me understand my significant other and our means of communicating. I would highly recommend this book to anyone in a relationship.

I have already used this to improve my marriage!
Sound advice that works--not a gimmick, but a description of real principles that the author has distilled down to five love languages. I appreciate the author reading his own work--I think that a "good" reading by a sincere author beats a "great" reading by an unaffiliated narrator, since there is passion and knowledge and authenticity from the author. I believe in this so much that I have purchased the book, CD's, or mp3 audio files of this work for 7 of my siblings and in-laws.

Would have never imagined......
What made the experience of listening to The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts the most enjoyable?
I never knew there were love languages. This made me put things into perspective!

It's been awhile but if my memory serves me correctly, the couple where the husband left his wife for a younger girl and realized his heart wasn't into it and went back to his wife.

A must read
Excellent book. Audible version is great when your to tired to read. Listening to it is just as helpful. Every couple should go over this book together. It will help your relationship out thru the power of Jesus Christ. If he is the center of your marriage these 5 love languages, which ever one is your language, will be easier to follow.

There's a reason this is such a best seller
strong religious overtones aside, the concepts and examples and lessons are worth so much. one read through is adequate if you also get the various version ( for men for children for teens etc)

Not just for couples!
I highly recommend everyone to read this book. If you’re single it will open your eyes to see why relationships seem to end in heartache. Even if your spouse or significant other refuses to read the book, your relationship will benefit greatly from the knowledge you’ll gain.

therapy through listening
wow I dont think there is enough room to write all my thighs about this book.. all I can say is this book is a must read, I'm not married but this book helped me to learn my language and my boyfriends language we had issues feeling loved by the other and with the help of this book we are learning to love better. I didnt just use it with my partner but I have a teenage daughter who I plan to use these languages with. I am very interested in reading the book for teenagers and for singles.
