I am a strong believer that understanding ourselves is a catalyst in change and understanding others helps is to navigate our relationship with others. You cannot put a band aid on a broken leg. You must find the break and correct it to heal. This book does give you a guide to search deeper into yourself to help you heal, but it will take your own research and introspection to create the change. Good luck! I really didn't have any expectations. It was short and to the point and intrigued me to read some more though I am not fully convinced. Something I defiantly will be continuing to study and research.
