Buy the print book if you want the A. U. D. I. O. CD included

I’m so irritated that I get this book in audio format but if I want the audio that is supposed to come with the book (a cd of mindfulness practices to try) I have to buy the print version. Why should I be penalized for buying in audio format? ESPECIALLY WHEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO SIMPLE TO INCLUDE AUDIO RECORDINGS TO AN AUDIOBOOK.

ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If they would knock off the goofy music.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment. I don't know what I was expecting but it was quite boring.

PERFECT

My YOGA teacher uses this and recomended it. Nice easy listining and relaxing. Good if looking for some positive and not to fall for the negative that is all around us everyday. Very intersting how it is explained all religons can and do use mindfullness and have done so for centuries.

Mind-FULL-ness

What did you love best about Mindfulness For Dummies?

I loved that the book broke down the act of mindfulness and simply living in the present; which isn't so simple after all.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the focus on meditation and the guided meditation that is offered. I will be going back to the book to re-listen to specific points that I need practice.

What does Shamash Alidina bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

By listening rather than reading, it allows you to think about how you will/would apply the lessons; rather than just comprehending as you read.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were many moments that I chose to pause/stop so that I could think on the learnings at that moment.

Any additional comments?

Definitely a book to keep on the shelf and replay pieces and parts.
