Roughly speaking, a good listen if you are a starter in interpersonal communications. Gives you a whole bunch of "new" tricks and tells you nothing as to how to make your own decisions. Other then that what also leaves a bit "sour" impression about the book is a quite over-feminist approach of the author. Every "bad" character in the examples in the book is a man. And not only that, the author also refers to genetic differences between man and woman and portrays the former as less of a "developed" being and more of an inferior organism but not equal to woman. Kind of sad.
Some of the ideas are originals and others are silly. Overall, its a good book to borrow from the library but not to buy.
I expected more. One suggestion from the book: when shaking hands, extend your index finger towards the persons wrist so as to make a more personal connection. Also, hold their business card a certain way. GMAB!
I am sorry to say that this one was really disappointing. I bought it for my grown sons, but was embarrassed to give it to them. Many of the tips are just plain dishonest. You might connect, but eventually the truth will be out and you will lose friendship and respect. I was appalled.
