The content and the presentation are very good. Just at the end, Audible added a sponsor message that is very startling in its tone. This could have been added with a pause and more subdued voice so as to not upset the calm you just managed to achieve.
I love Bodhipaksa's voice, which has a soft Scottish accent. The narrators of many meditation CDs have voices that eventually grate on me, but never this one. It always relaxes and calms me.
I would recommend this audiobook to anyone and everyone. After one day you will be zapped into the now, very powerful. My clients are now enjoying this via headphones during massages and facials. A wonderful journey. Clients remarks..... "mind blowing"......."totally relaxing"......." please tell me how to get this!"
This is one of my favorites. The tape is very restful to listen to and he has a soothing scottish accent. Wish there were more by him.
Only caveat? Would like a few more positive affirmations.
Not at all the type of imagery-based guided medirations many are used to, this recording seems merely instructional - simply teaching awarenwss of physical sensations. If you're looking for exploration and relaxation through guided meditation and imagery, this is not the book for you.
I've listened to this a few times at bedtime and each time it has put me to sleep before reaching the end. His voice is relaxing (although you may not think so from the sample) and does help you to relax. I only wish there had been more than two relaxation exercises. I will probably tire of listening to them over and over.
I have some of his other meditations, and I still want more! They're all slightly different and sort of the same - in a good way.

The audio is nice, but only a 3 star. I have many books that have guided meditations and for some reason after I listen to this section I do not come away more or less relaxed or less stressed. The audio is also set up funny where it is not broken down into neat chapters so that you can simply when listening again and again jump to a set point. You will have to use audible's application to set bookmarks, but take that as a positive plug for audibe's iPhone app.
The reader's voice is nice but sometimes he is too close to the microphone or has hard time with set pronunciation. If the audio goes on sale I recommend it but not at full price.

An excellent guided meditation using a body scan method. And a nice length for middle of day stress reduction sessions.
