It helped me fully relax and actually SLEEP! I hardly ever get enough sleep because I seem to have a night owl gene (as so do others in my family) but this audio book honestly helped me fall asleep even before the whole book was over!
There aren't really any characters. But the person reading it was great! His voice is very relaxing, enchanting even!

That repetition at bedtime - getting into habits that enhance sleep - make sleep more successful.
Should only be a half credit...it is VERY short and not really the value of a full credit. But, I am still glad I downloaded it!
I absolutely love this sleep meditation! I have used other deep sleep meditation and they didn't even come close to the wonderful affects as this one does! It really helped me to go to sleep and Steven's voice is so soothing and comforting!

I used a credit to purchase this book and it was money well spent. I'd never used a hypnosis tape before and I was so surprised at how well this works for me. I put it on almost every night and I never have trouble falling asleep when I use it.
The best part is, I wake up refreshed, with all my muscles relaxed. Almost like I took a sleeping pill but without the next-morning grogginess. I plan to continue using the recording because I've had such great results with it.
A couple of light criticisms, the beneficial parts of the tape start about nine minutes in. I just bookmark it and skip to it. The first eight minutes are full of the narrator explaining what hypnosis is, etc. There's really no need to listen to the intro every night.
Second, the narrator's voice can be a little off-putting but after a few minutes of listening to him I settle in. He's good at what he does and the benefits far outweigh the negatives in my opinion.
Bravo, I'm now hooked on hypnosis as not being a total crock, but rather something that has real benefit to my life. A+
I dont know his voice took a second to get used to and i fell asleep to it but then woke up to the next chapter because of the music. good for relaxing i guess.

GURGEVICH STARTED ME ON THE SELF DEVELOPMENT PHASE ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO. PICKED UP A PRE-RECORDED MP3 PLAYER AT THE LIBRARY AND KEPT ON RE-NEWING IT. ENDED UP PAYING BIG BUCKS FOR THE PRE-LOADED MP3 JUST TO HAVE HIM NEARBY EVERYDAY. SO, THOUGHT I'D ENJOY THIS NEW ONE OF DEEP SLEEP.
IT IS OK. WAS REALLY GOOD UNTIL I ENDED BEING TO RESTLESS TO STAY IN MY "TRANZ" MODE AND PAID ATTENTION TO THE WORDS. GOT THE GIGGLES ON A FEW PASSAGES THRU NOSTRILS..
HOPE TO GET BACK TO STEVEN'S SELF HYPNOSIS SOON - MAYBE I'LL GET MY DEEP SLEEP AFTER THE HOLIDAYS.
I was in Houston. It was hot and humid and this put me to sleep and/or back to sleep every night. It saved my life.
Gurgevich gives you several different hypnotic sessions. I was usually to sleep during the first one or two. I don't even remember the rest.
The introduction at the beginning was kind of long but it does give you a few minutes to settle before he launches into the different sessions.
Narrator's voice is not the least bit soothing or pleasant but neither is insomnia. Definitely should have been broken into chapters so you will need to create 2 or 3 bookmarks. Bottom line, I have yet to be awake to hear the end of one of the sessions. That's what I really bought it for.
