Anita Moorjani had lymphoma, which had spread throughout her body, and her organs were beginning to shut down. As she slipped into a coma, doctors were resigned to the fact that she was in her last hours of life. After being diagnosed with cancer it was suggested I read ""Dying To Be Me" by this author. I was already freaked out by the diagnosis and the title sounded awful. Well, I postponed it for a week or so then delved into it. Wonderful story on Audible and listened while doing crossword puzzles (ADD thing). Then I saw this meditation by her so tried it out. For me, i find it exhilarating (more so than some others). It's my personal preference. Five stars.
Not what I expected. Not relaxing to meditate with or use as a healing tool. Hope that it has helped some people just wasn't a good fit for me.
I have listened to it several times a week for several months and still love it. My favorite of all my guided meditations. It is not a smooth, polished meditation. The recording is a real person with a genuine quality about her, which I prefer over polished.
