Born Again....

Even as a "Born Again" christian, I was skeptical at both the christian and non-christian world. After reading and listening to this book, I think I know the meaning of being "Born Again". Now I'm more closer to God and Christ's teaching. Born once again!

Fantastic book!

This book is Life changing. This can be a great gift to the beloved ones around you.

*The* most lucid & practical book on spirituality

This isn't my first book or material on spirituality that I've consumed. But I have a feeling it could be the last.

Why? Because beyond the concepts explained here, what remains is practice.

(needless to say, like all great books, the book is endlessly deep in its value - so listening to it over and over again is highly recommended. You'll come away with new insights, inspiration and the reminder that you're 'that', the consciousness)

This is an incredible piece of work - one that I feel, could only be written by someone who's experienced bliss.

Cannot recommend it to anyone and everyone - let's create the new earth together.

Being

Great book to bring awareness to being. As part time yoga teacher and full-time, struggling medical student, this piece was a sweet reminder of presence. Tolle paints a beautiful existence incorporating relative and absolute truths from religion to science, quoting prophets to Sufi mystics & interconnecting physics and consciousness to psychology of the ego. I enjoyed it as a download on audible app on my long road trips. It is what you make of it.

Wisdom

I have learned that some people, unfortunately, have labeled Eckhart Tolle and the community around him a «cult». Coming from a highly critical family, I can relate to, well, being critical of things. However ironically enough judging something before you have experienced it yourself, based on rumors and /or stubbornness is the opposite of being critical.

This book is not about religion, and it is not part of a cult. Whatever labels you may have associated with it for any reason, do yourself a favor and just listen to it before judging. This book is about something that people throughout history has been trying to tell us.

Ask your heart if any of these things are untrue:

Humans cause immense suffering on other humans and animals.

Humans are full of fear

Humans suffer

We struggle to find ourselves

We are afraid of living our lives the way our hearts wants to live

Be honest with yourself, do you not agree? This book can and will explain the underlying cause, and the solution to all of these problems and more. It becomes obvious as you hear it. If you keep yourself open and actually listen, it will probably change your life forever. If you listen with the intention of finding faults, then you will find faults but you will also miss the point.

Words are sign posts to something greater. If you fixate on the words themselves then you’re missing the point. You have to let the words guide you to that greater thing, the understanding that the words point to.

This book, like all material things imperfect, points towards the truth. Now hear me, there is two aspects that I think you should understand. On one hand, Eckhart shows the undeniable truth of our world. It cannot be denied, it is obvious and it is true. He shows the answer, and it is life-changing and it is true. On the other hand, he is convinced that he knows our nature from the perspective of spirituality as well. I believe him, but regardless if you find that you believe this aspect or not, the problem and the solution is still undeniable! So if you get caught up in any aspect that you can actually doubt, then you are missing the point.

This has changed my life forever. Since I first listened to this soon one year ago, my life has gradually gotten much more beautiful and enjoyable. It’s a process that won’t stop, because the more it matures and as my brain draws connections to the things I’ve learned and learn along the way, the more wisdom it gives me. Everytime I listen to this, I see more wisdom as well. I will always be thankful for the effort put into this amazing and beautiful book. No amount of money or material goods will ever give me anything that can compete with this gift. I sincerely mean that. All my life I have struggled with my own mind. Now I am the master of it, not the other way around.

Now I will address the other books vs this

Yes, Eckhart has quite a few books. You don’t need to have read any other, not at all. This contains all the information you’ll ever need. I have listened to 3 of his books now several times. All books tries to convey the same teachings, and Eckhart is completely honest about this. The thing though, is that they approach the matter slightly differently, and the formats differ a lot. For example The Power Of Now is more of a Q/A based book whereas A New Earth has a more consistent narrative. I think this one is the best, because it has a smooth and almost poetic flow to it. I immediately judged his accent at first but I soon learned to enjoy it (5 mins).

If you do listen to this, and understand it, you may find that you want to listen to some of his other books too. Because the money spent is so insignificant compared to the power behind the wisdom. Like I said though, this book alone is complete.

From one human to another, I sincerely recommend this book. It is the most important book I have ever read / listened to. I now love stronger than before, and hate is no longer a part of me.

I am never disappointed when listening or reading Eckhart Tolle..His voice is very relaxing and he gets to the point...he doesn't always say things that you want to hear, but after he says them, you can't dispute them...for me anyway...Eckhart just makes you stop and really think about life.....Living your life seems easier and makes a lot more sense... I find all his works incredible
