There is nothing worse than being in pain all the time. I like books released by Ace McCloud so when I saw that he had this book, not just in paper form but in audio, I had to get it. I have suffered from a mysterious pain that sometimes makes it difficult for me to accomplish simple tasks and until the pain subsides, I can be really grumpy and mean to people. I am not usually like that, I don't like to be that way, but pain will do that to you. This book gives so many wonderful ideas of how to reduce and relieve pain, I do recommend it. Some things may appear to be common sense and you don't even know why you didn't think of it before.

There are 8 easy steps to do to form your own personal plan. This book has been so helpful to me in that it is helping me deal with and understand the pain from my Plantar Fasciitis. I would recommend this book to anyone dealing with any type of pain. While listening to this book you will be guided through options and solutions for dealing and treating your pain. Stop just settling with your pain and get the information you need from this book to help you feel better and live a healthier happier you!
Informative, Understandable, Achievable
Ace McCloud has another 2 box set called Pain Relief and it deals with one book about Back Pain relief and another about knee pain relief. Pain Management book goes into much more than just the knee and back and helps you develop a pain management plan for any pain you might experience.
Joshua Mackey never gives a bad performance. His voice is confident and strong and he gives just the right inflection to his words to make them easy to understand.
The book is a nonfiction book so there is little chance of an extreme reaction. I was very happy about the steps to developing the pain management plan however. It gave me great pleasure to complete one and start it using all the information that was in the book.
This book is great for anyone who experiences pain on a regular basis. It discusses all kinds of pain and everything that might be causing it from posture to lifting and some chronic diseases that cause pain. It also discusses what can help from ways to lift so you do not experience pain to correcting posture, eating the right foods, stretching and exercises, alternative medicine and supplements and more. There should be something in this book that will work for you. The best thing about the book is the 8 step pain management plan you can create on your own and use to manage your pain.
I am quite pleased with this audio! Not only is it a comprehensive overview of pain prevention, but it details a variety of ways to heal painful injuries. I especially liked the section on healing pain naturally and it even has some more advanced tips. Everyone should know the things in this book, especially as we get older. Trust me, pain pills are not the way to go! The audio even walks you through making your own pain management plan! Definitely recommended!

"Easy pain management tips"
I bought this audio-book because I often suffer with back and wrist pain and wanted to find out more about how to relieve pain naturally. I enjoyed learning about, and trying out some of the stretches and yoga poses described.
The audio-book taught me about some of the natural solutions to pain, such as some of the supplements you can take. I also enjoyed learning about the medical solutions to pain, its good to have information on both alternative and conventional ways to treat pain.
This audio-book helped me to understand my pain and its causes better, and in that way has helped me to treat it more effectively. Great to listen to if you're looking to try different ways to reduce pain before heading to the pharmacy.

As an aging 50 something-year-old, aches and pains are beginning to become a regular occurrence in my life... these are currently fairly minor but sometimes prevent me doing what I would like. At the other end of the spectrum I have experienced the severe pain associated with child birth and gall stones. Add to that my nursing background and I will admit that I came to
this book, wondering if it really had anything much to offer me. How wrong can you be? Narrated in a pleasant and easy to listen to voice, Pain Management covers everything from the causes of pain, to the effects of pain and the problems associated with strong analgesics. It then moves into a comprehensive look at alternative strategies for dealing with pain.
I found the postural care section fascinating, and also the section on specific foods that have been shown to help certain types of pain.
A really useful guide to a difficult and personal subject and well worth the purchase price for anyone who is interested in finding new ways to address the pain they experience.

I enjoyed the fact that the writer has covered so many aspects related to pain management and just how much he has been able to cram into this book.
He does a tremendous job of explaining all the types of pain humans experience and ways to treat each one.
In particular, I really enjoyed the chapter that looked at specific exercise and stretches especially those regarding swimming. I also really liked the sections on posture techniques and natural ways to treat pain and found them to be fascinating.
The narrator does an excellent job of being engaging and likable throughout, while bringing each point to life with clear delivery.
