Phenomenal
I have read this book from cover to cover over 7 times and listened to it another 3 or 4 at least. Every time I find some new detail that I missed before. These books may be intended to be able to be read as stand alone books, however, the story is so artfully constructed as to require consumption of the whole set to truly appreciate the genius.

apparently, the world revolves around Richard.
all female humans and animals bend over backwards to help Richard succeed. he's kind of arrogant starting out, but that goes away as story begins to develop. it's an engaging story. you can leave it on, zone out, and then pick up again pretty easily. it's good for a chill out read.

Amazingly Read
I've previously read the entire series, and decided I would like to listen to the books on audio. The narrator kept me engaged and in the edge of my seat. He made the book come to life in a whole new way! Magical!
