As ruthless apprentice to Darth Vader, Starkiller was mercilessly schooled in the ways of the dark side, commanded to exterminate the last of the purged Jedi Order, and groomed for the ultimate Sith power play: assassination of the Emperor. He served without question, killed without remorse, and lost his heart without warning to beautiful Imperial fighter pilot Juno Eclipse, never suspecting that he was just a tool in the schemes of his masters - until it was too late to escape their lethal betrayal.
Juno mourned Starkiller as dead...but now he is back, purged of all memories and programmed to kill. And as fate brings Juno and Starkiller closer to reuniting, with Darth Vader determined not to lose his assassin a second time, they will both have to make a stand. The prize is freedom. The punishment for failing will be eternal enslavement to the dark side of the Force....

I am a huge fan of the Force Unleashed storyline. I love the story of Starkiller and his relationship with the different characters in the two book / games. It is very easy to get attached to the characters and you can't stop reading because you want to find out what happens in the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone. Of course you will need to read the first book first which is also great. It sucks tho that there isn't an unabridged version of the first one there is only abridged. Last thoughts... I can't wait till the game comes out and I hope to see more books revolved around these characters. Buy the book or download this now!!
Yes, excellent reading and effects.
Many moments that explain more in depth the game story.
Yes, Jonathan Davis is one of my favourite readers. He delivers een excellent performance and makes the story come to life.
Yes, almost did it in one sitting.
Thi is a great book and an engaging story. Even has a great cameo! The only problem is that there seem to be quick silent pauses that interrupt the flow. Worth your listen. Get Book one or you will be so lostQ
The expansion on the story of Starkiller's fate. Also more background to Juno and the others than the game had.
When Starkiller broke into the Rogue Shadow's cockpit and Juno was not there.
When he finally held Juno in his arms again.
Worth every cent.
This is an unabridged complete and coherent book as opposed the abridged prequel. Like the first book, it also contains the voice changes and sound effects that make this series seem so alive. I highly enjoyed it and only failed to give it a five star rating because the audio mix at times is questionable (the sound effects drown out the narrative at two distinct points). I honestly wish they would make more novels from compelling video game story lines. This is a nice piece of work by Sean Williams.

Jonathan Davis shines while narrating, but not much can be done about the weak story... while the original Force Unleashed was a good story full of plot twists, revenge, betrayal and adventure, this sequel reads as just traveling from point A to point B, with nothing more than select appearances from established characters... plus, from the ending of the novel it's implied that a last sequel (hopefully) is due. I hope that they polish that last one a bit more...
it wasn't as good as the first one and it definitely should have went more in-depth into the force and then plans a wife beater tried to create an apprentice. possibly explaining his master plan and what ended up happening to Vader once captured like how he got free and what the emperor did whether he found out about his Apprentice
Fantastic read, and painted a much clearer picture then the games did. showed much more of the picture rather then rushing you around like the games did. Great read overall and would recommend to anyone who played the games or just loves the universe.
great second book... spoiler...there will be a third in the series no doubt. looking forward to that
