Creepy goodness!

This one takes a turn from the first two and has a very dark, creepy feeling to it--which works! It's a nice change of pace and gives the story new depth. And the haunting music is really outstanding!

I definitely felt the "hungry purple tentacles" runing up my spine!

Once again, Marc Thompson does a tremendous job narrating. This is not a series to miss!

I'm a suckered for a good story and a huge star wars nut. and finding out about this part in Luke's life is amazing

The Jedi and Alliance on galaxy’s worst toxic relationship

This was a good book. Def worth it for Star Wars fans. But after I finish this series I’m done with Star Wars novels. Except the new thrawn stuff since I’ve preordered. But after listening to about 15-20 SW books since quarantine began, I’ve realized for the first time how terribly obnoxious most of these novels really are.

I’m so sick of the GAG/GAS stuff. The level 10 spite and anger in every line of every character is annoying. The fact that everyone hates the Jedi and the Solos for continuously putting their lives and families in danger to do what the government and people wouldn’t do on their own and to save those same sh*tty people is obnoxious.

The fact that Luke and everyone else installed ALL former imperial leaders and then act like they never realized it till almost a decade later. Then they are shocked when Dallah acts like she does in this storyline. It’s ridiculous.

The only thing that would fix all that garbage is if the Jedi would be like “fine, treat us like that and we’re out. Good luck on your own.” And all the Jedi leave Coruscant. There’s worlds and systems that aren’t in the Alliance. The Jedi could relocate and problem solved. You’d think after all this time, all the drama, all the negative stuff, the Jedi and GA would realize they are better off separated.

Great writing and narrating

Marc Thompson never fails to bring the characters to life with unique sounds, voices and emotions. The books in this series are amazing and well worth getting everyone. This has that true 1990-2012 star wars story telling where it feels like it truly fits into the universe and not forced at all.

This is one of the best series I have read in a while, but I love how we learn a little more about the jedi sickness through each book. I highly recommend it for all star wars fans.

almost perfect

i found at about 3:46 minutes remaining a distortion in the audio that didn't last more than about 20 seconds. otherwise another wonderful audiobook

it's a continuation

political intrigue and jedi mysticism, and adventure. a great star wars story. will continue listening.
