When people are in need of rescue outside of the walled cities in a werewolf-infested world. Gretta Snow, Recovery Specialist and Wolf Hunter, is the woman to call. Her ability with weapons and combat are just as formidable as her magic and supernatural connection to nature. After saving a boy from a kidnapping outside of Seattle, she finds herself caught up in a plot by the Alpha wolves to protect their own power. With Officer Rachel Paige at her side, she stands with the Red Hood and her hellhound against some of the darkest gypsy witches the world has seen in centuries.

As a child i used to listen to stories on records, now being a grown woman I get to listen to them again in a completely different way, and I love how Erik re tells and makes our old fashion Grimm stories in to something completely new, and for me there is only one woman that brings them alive in my hears, so thank you Miss Holly.
I was so happy with this one! The background of how Snow came to be is nothing short of creative! LOVED how they made her seem to have druid attributes and fleshed out. The romance between Rachel though very quick, seemed very down to earth and sweet. Hollie did an amazing job revoicing Mari and Daria, I squared when I heard them again. She brings all characters to life and in such different variations and great tones, as well of accents! EPIC WIN, HOLLIE!!!
Eric has a way of repeating some sentences, but he'll get better with time. I'm sure of it! 9 out of 10, reason being that I have to wait for the next audiobook of this series... ~sings~ Sadness...
Am quite pleased with this book in the series, as it was as good as the first. And I find it very appealing, to my gothic nature even though it has yet to touch on vampires. Something tells me, that it just might in future books. As I've only enjoyed one other series this well, but that was by a different author.
Erik Schubach and Hollie Jackson are always a good team when it comes to great audiobooks for people that love to feel like they are a part of the book and if you enjoy strong, interesting and intelligent female leads then this book is for you.
I absolutely love this narrator and these stories. Yeah, from a writer's POV, you could pick apart his characters that tend to be the same nose-crinkling women who giggle too much found in all his stories. But Schubach is writing YA stories about young women with super hero courage, warrior talents and noble hearts. For that, I can easily forgive the rest. I find his plots interesting and his characters uplifting.
