Fun to listen to, but easy to predict

A fun next-in-series, but I found the plot breadcrumbs far too obvious for there to be any real surprise.

Yes. This story is cute and I will listen to the other Enchanted books again in the future.

Take the typical "Red Shoes" story, add the usual cast of characters and you get a typical day at MSI, Inc

What other book might you compare Once Upon Stilettos to and why?

The first Enchanted book.

Did Eva Wilhelm do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Some of her male characters are hard to differentiate

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always get some good laughs from these books.

Another good book in the series

Love the story line!

Story is magical and almost silly. Takes your mind off of how stressful life can be.

still nice, but...

i still liked this book, it keeps being an easy and fast read but I can’t shake the feeling that it should have been a single unit with book one (which makes me a bit bummed that i had to use two credits to read it).
one thing that frustrated me very much is katie unwillingness to confide in anyone, dragging the "no more immune plot" for the whole book when it could have been solved in one chapter if she had told ANYONE. she could confided in the spy, and they could have convinced her that she had to hide it at all cost or something. (and despite the frustration, I'll still buy the next one! shoot!!)

I just listened to this book for the second time and laughed out loud again. She works for Merlin . . THE Merlin, haha!

It's just enough cute and sweet to take your mind off of everyday life 😊. Now onto book 3

Fun series

Would you listen to Once Upon Stilettos again? Why?

I will probably never listen to this story again.... nothing that interesting that I need to hear again.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was fun to listen to-- nothing too serious or complex. Great to listen to while doing something else. Listening to fun stories while doing chores makes the chores go by faster.

What about Eva Wilhelm’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed this book, but would like Eva Wilhelm to be less stilted in her dialog. I think she'd be better off reading with a more natural feel.

Fun book

As good as the first in the series! Fun characters, light story. I would recommend when you want a smile.
