Great Monster Fiction
What made the experience of listening to Monster Hunter International the most enjoyable?
I bought this book on sale but had put off listening to this book for a year, as it sounded too much like many of the other books in this genre. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long, as it's a great book. One of the enjoyable aspects of it is the unpredictability of the story.
What did you like best about this story?
The characters were believable and the plot was complex enough to maintain interest throughout the book.
What about Oliver Wyman’s performance did you like?
The narration was superb, as usual.
Any additional comments?
I can tell how much I really like a book by how interested I am in getting the next in the series, and I'm looking forward listening to the next one.

Decent popcorn adventures
standard urban fantasy afair with s bit of fan service to geeks and gun nuts, a somewhat Marty and Mary Sue couple and a cast of overly competent characters. despite that managed to be Charming and not to cliche.

Totally hooked
I have never been a fan of guns or gore, but this story was irresistible and I will probably buy every single one in the series. Also I think the narrator is amazing and I have already bought another book read by him. Superlatives fail me! This book was pure fun all the way to the epilogue. Bravo!
