I jumped on this one as soon as I found it. I had no idea that there was going to be a Lycan Fallout but it was a welcomed surprise when I saw it. There a re a couple of surprises in this book, a series of new characters being introduced and a bunch of old characters resurfacing. If you even remotely liked Zombie Fallout, you will absolutely be floored with Lycan Fallout.
I very much appreciated the fact that Sean Runnette has returned. I am willing to say now that I am a complete fan of Sean Runnette as a narrator. I never noticed how many titles I have that is narrated by him in my library and each and every one of them I find that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
Lycan Fallout itself and Mark Tufo on a whole is a combination of old and new. Old in the sense that you are once again thrown into the world of Mike Talbot in a time long after the happenings in Zombie Fallout. Not a direct sequel of the book but somewhat of an alternate reality... If you have listened to any other Mark Tufo books you will see Mike Talbot's character reoccurring in varying situations. New in the sense that there are now Lycans, the quest to regain his soul and the appearance of varying new characters.
5 stars is i love and i will read agani and again. 1 is i hate and i never want to hear about it ever again. YES = :))) - NO= :'(
First of all, i have assumed that this book was a stand alone book, but its a new fallout series, which is amazing, and its starring our dear friend Michael Talbot. although it is weird that a new series have started, while the first one starring Michael Talbot didn't finish yet, but still its a great idea.
So after mankind survived from zombies, Lycans and warewolfs find it their turn to eat and kill all man kind.. Mark Tufo, give man kind a break.. a 150 years is not enough for them. Not going to say which characters from the zombie fallout come here, you have to read the book to find out, lets just say its a good combination.
This first book was bloody and had a really sad ending. but I feel that this is nothing comparing to what Tufo has in his mind.
Another great beginning for a series, and looking forward for the next book and series.
Absolutely. Mark Tufo's books are must-reads and must-rereads for me. Talbot has become part of the family and while I find myself occasionally yelling at him because he's being stupid, it's because i find myself caring for him and identifying with him. Reliving the adventures only brings him back to life for me.
Michael Talbot. Duh.
Sean Runnette IS Michael Talbot. His accent, reading style, and everything just brings a lot of life and humor into the book, where other narrators just fall flat.
Talbot's adventures ALWAYS make me laugh and cry. He's real to me, and I enjoy living through the adventures with him.
I liked it better when the author (or Mike) was just as horrified as I was. He still has half his soul, you would think he would be at least half as sickened and outraged at all the atrocities around him. The character has been through alot, but I believe it was a bad decision to have him write hour after hour on violence against children and infants with such detail!
Yes, horror against children happens as frequently (if not more) and there is no reason it can't be part of a story, but in my opinion the descriptions were just to much and too frequent in this installment for me to have a chance at enjoying it.
EXCITED! Not a werewolf fan but after reading Tufo's Lycan Fallout I am now becoming a fan. The book follows a weary and depressed (until he gets mad) Mike Talbot (now a vampire) on a quest to save mankind against werewolves and lycans. Witches, Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves, and Lycans oh no! This book as it all. Will mankind prevail? Will Mike rally the villages to come together to fight? Will he make it in time? You will just have to read Rise of the Werewolf and wait for the rest in the series to find out.
Narration was perfect as always....Sean Runnette is a perfect fit!!!!!
Its the talbot universe.. theres not much i dont love about it.
Mark Tufos other books is all i can say.. Mark Tufo is on another level when it comes to his stories.
**SPOILER** Saying good bye to Thomas **SPOILER**
The Name of the book series. I would watch anything thats a true vision of Mark Tufo`s universe. However i highly doubt hollywood would let him do it since they are pissing on everything good these days.
HBO tv or miniseries is the only thing id have enough faith in to almost handle this.
If your a beginner to Mark Tufos books i would have to say go back and start with Zombie Fallout. And just read and listen to every single Mark Tufo book. I have on everything so far and i plan on starting all over soon.
I spend about 2 1/2 hrs a day commuting to work, so I have a good amount of Audible time. I love sci-fi, post apocalypse, and zombie books.
This book is SOP (standard Operating Procedure) for Mr. Tufo. Thank you sir for making another, "my favorite book ever"!! And special thanks to Sean Runnette for bringing such life to an over the top personality like Mike Talbot.

Lycan Fallout: Rise of the Werewolf was everything I wanted from another Talbot adventure, action, mystery, comedy, blood, monsters, and of course pop tarts. I was a bit surprised, having not listened to all of the Zombie Fallout series, by the situation that Talbot has found himself in. Again Tufo creates a unique would that could only exist after the zombie apocalypse has been carried out, with sporadic groups of survivors all with different belief systems and mythology from the world that once was. At one point I thought where were going to be zombie werewolves, not sure how that would go down, but alas that branch of the story hasn't been traveled down yet.

Lycan Fallout is the first book which somewhat continues after Zombie Fallout. If you don’t like zombies but want a fun action book come on down. If you liked the Mike Talbot character from Zombie Fallout then you should probably read this as he’s just as much of smart ass here as he was there. The book has a familiar cast of characters and is good fun. It has a good balance of action and moving the story along and made me laugh in a number of places. I can’t wait to see what happens in book number 2!
Sean Runnette is a great Narrator and he does wonderfully here.
Huge Zombie fan! Need I say more?
The leader of the Lycans. The memories as well was a very great insite.
"Mark Tufo does it again !"
The combination of Mark Tufo's writing and Sean Runnette's oratory skills continue to shine through as absolute brilliance in this off shoot story of the wonderful Zombie Fallout series. The story is well crafted and well back dropped, the change in the irrepressible Mike made me even want to slap him and say get on with it. Classic story telling and utterly wonderful narration from Mr Runnette
Mike Talbot is a legendary character from Mark, flawed in so many ways and yet never afraid to be the first in danger and try to save the day, in a world were most good will has disappeared following the desolation of the Zombie Fallout, the new danger rises and Mike reluctantly, flawed, brilliant and heroically, still plunges in to help again and try to save the very unworthy mankind.
Sean Runnette's performance is outstanding, I could not listen to the series or any Mark Tufo book without him now, the perfect blend of story telling brings out the best audio story telling I have heard, and I have well over 100 audio books from here now, he just sucks you into the story and masterfully immerses you into it and makes you fall in love with the main characters.
Without a doubt wanted to listen to this in one go, was so annoyed I had to go to work after a long trek up the motorway listening to this, just could not wait to get out of my meeting so I could begin listening again !
Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette are the Audio book equivalent of Nirvana for a man that has listened to far to many distinctly average offerings from other authors and orators !! Classic and so under praised.
"Another awesome dose of Talbot"
Yes. Most definitely. I love Mark's books. The characters are so real-life that they almost become friends. This new series, although just starting out, is no exception. It's going to be a good one.
Talbot! I love his irreverent outlook on life(or unlife). I usually listen to these books while travelling and there are many times when I have had to stop the car until the giggles have passed (or the misty eyes).
BT's descendant. Won't say any more but it's really funny.
Marks books always engender a full range of emotions. When a character dies, it is like losing a real friend or if something good happens, it lifts your spirits.
Come on Mark. Let's have book two.
"Mr Tufo does it again!"
Mark Tufo never fails to delight, I loved this book! I'm a big fan of the Zombie Fallout series so I was looking forward to listening to this, and I wasn't disappointed, no-one draws you into a post apocalyptic landscape like Mark Tufo, I highly recommend any of Mark's books to anyone looking for something on the darker side. Vividly described, wonderful characters, intense and never a dull moment. This book will hold you from the first word till the last. Sean Runnette's narrates like very few people can, he has a real campfire voice that you cant stop listening to.
If your looking for that something a bit special then look no further, you have found it!
"A must for any ZF fan"
Yes. I'd recomend all his work to my friends
This is a great book for any Talbot fan. I cant wait for the next book
"My First Disappointing Mark Tufo Book"
After finishing ZF 1-6, IH 1-3 and B of R 1-3 I was excited to get this book but wow what happened here, it was seriously hard going of course time had moved on and there were new characters but the book always gave me the feeling of an essay i would have to write at school where you had to do a 1000 words or more but the story was only 500 words so the other 500 was rubbish filler and sorry Mark this book felt like that to me - filler. Hope you are back on form for next one as so far 1 boring book out of 13 is not bad :) Lets hope you are back on form soon. As i understand ZF7 is next then possibly IH4 so waiting with baited breath.
Zombie fallout 7
no-one he is great
what characters were in it? they were a bit wet and diluted
lets hope the weakness of this book was an anomaly as it is not the normal fun quality we get from Mark but it felt like he was just writing and tired of ideas and characters.
