This is a good zombie apocalypse story with a medical research start that goes into a government /military way. Worth the credit.

What a splendid nightmare!

A very well told account of a zombie outbreak from the POV of the scientists who started it and the patients who turn in the monsters. Lots of characters you’ll love and hate and lots and lots of detailed gore! A must read!

This series is one of, if not the best zombie stories I have ever been introduce to!!!!!

Really interesting take

First off. Do NOT be distracted by people who wrote negative reviews based on some offensive language used by a CHARACTER. If your not offended by violence and bad language but draw the line at “hurtful words” maybe zombie stories are not for you?

Now, the story starts a bit slow for a few chapters but really starts to come into its own.
I enjoyed how the zombie virus starts, when you think you know what the zombies will be like then it changes up on you enough to be enjoyable.
Honestly I feel as reality goes this is an acceptable could happen scenario !
So always a great thing!

well this is the second zombie book Ive listened to. OT wasnt all that like the other one. it really had A LOT blend moments in the book. the narrator was good tho. but I. just didmt care to much of how the story went.

I have a hour and a half work commute and this series helped a lot! wonderful audio book. kept me alert and waiting to see what happens! really good zombie book!

Zombie Awesomeness

This got more riveting as the "days",chapters, went on. Fell in love with some characters and quickly hated others. Made this a more realistic look at the Apocalypse, and nearly the same as the new time. Keep it up and read on!

Spoiler Alert! The ending is... “the end.”

I was immediately enthralled by the first book of the three in this audiobook version. These books take a slightly different approach at the creation of zombies and then takes the readers and listeners riding that storyline into a very detailed and unique. This book is very well written and the character development is excellent. The reason for three stars and not five is for one simple reason, the ending is non-existent. It gives the impression of a writer who is either bored with the story or a writer who is out of ideas. There are no “cliff hangers” for the reader or listener to work over in their own way.
