Huge Zombie fan! Need I say more?
The leader of the Lycans. The memories as well was a very great insite.
The plot: If there was one besides the main character moaning about his past/crying I couldn't detect it. Oh there were werewolves and Lycans. And then gore. Lots of gore. The author didn't know what to write next so bring on the excessive gore!
The characters: Two dimensional, unrealistic, and boring. The main character was a never ending series of emotional out bursts with the dialogue skills of a petulant 10 year old. Everyone else was.....I'm not sure, there was hardly enough substance to actually call them characters.
This book is poorly written and not worth spending the credit on.
Its the talbot universe.. theres not much i dont love about it.
Mark Tufos other books is all i can say.. Mark Tufo is on another level when it comes to his stories.
**SPOILER** Saying good bye to Thomas **SPOILER**
The Name of the book series. I would watch anything thats a true vision of Mark Tufo`s universe. However i highly doubt hollywood would let him do it since they are pissing on everything good these days.
HBO tv or miniseries is the only thing id have enough faith in to almost handle this.
If your a beginner to Mark Tufos books i would have to say go back and start with Zombie Fallout. And just read and listen to every single Mark Tufo book. I have on everything so far and i plan on starting all over soon.
As usual Sean Runnette IS Michael Talbot. He perfectly portrays the whit, sarcasm and humor that I envision.
It drives me nuts that I cannot!
I was weary at first because this is to take place after the Zombie Fallout series which has yet to complete so I was worried how the two could develop parallel without spoilers appearing but I feel as though there are no great reveals in here. You are told the characters you loved are long since passed but that is to be expected. It is a bit heart wrenching knowing the chemistry that has been instilled in you for a whole series is over, but this book begins it's own saga.
Another great story from Mark Tufo. I loved getting to see Michael Talbot again in a different story line, although connected to Zombie Fallout. The book says you don't have to have read Zombie Fallout, which is true. But I recommend you finish that series first, as there are lots of references.
Audible has opened up a whole new world of reading that I could not make work in the traditional page turning world. I am on a mission to listen to a wide variety of adventures, mysteries, thrillers, classics, etc. Thank you Audible!
If you have read any of the zombie fallout series and enjoyed them you are going to like this book. Lycan fallout flows quickly and provides the reader with a balance of fun and action. Before the story begins Mr. Tufo states that this book can be read as a standalone, but if you have read the zombie fallout series you will have a richer experiences as he does a good job entwining the zombies into the world of the Lycan and he provides some lost moments and deeper character history from the zombie fallout series, which brought back some fun memories. My only complaint would be that some of the character development could have been more substantial to further add to the depth of this journey. If you have not read the zombie fallout you may want to go there first and come back to this book because there are also a few zombie fallout spoilers in this story.
I am a big believer in the power of the narrator and have unfortunately listened to some great books only to be frustrated by the fumbling of a less than impressive narration. Sean Runnette is excellent and does a wonderful job of drawing the reader into the story. Not only is Mr. Runnette fun to listen to he brings a familiarity to this book as he also is the narrator for the full zombie fallout series. Currently this book is not part of a series, but I would not be surprised if Mr. Tufo decides to make it into one based on some of story development and considering how parts of the book ended.
top 15 (the Zombie fallout books take up the first 7 spots of course!)
The combination of Sean Runnette and Mark Tufo is so amazing, I have every book that they have done together and can't get enough.
I don't want to spoil it, but Tommy definitely brought a sentimental moment for me
Just wonderful to get to see what Talbot would do in another situation! I can't get enough! The book is amazingly written, has a great combination of story, memories, comedy, sarcasm, terror, and a little bit of sexiness! Awesome combination!
I havn't ever read the print version, but to me it would be strange to read it in print because Sean Runnette is Mike Talbot!!
i'm not sure...
When Tommy brings Mike Purpose.
Oh lord, when Mike climbed in Tommy's grave I cried like a baby.
Mark, I'm not sure how you do it, but your Mike Talbot stories are always amazing!
I work in IT, I love reading, I love Writing and for those daily travels too and fro I love to listen to Audible books too
A well written story of lost pain, revenge and battles
They are all without exception throughout this, Zombie Fallout and Riley series perfect narration
I was coy about getting this one as the transfer between zombie and Lycan was not to my interest how I gave it a go and not only did his book give me some further insight into the characters from fallout but certainly extended the storyline well.
Therefore if you are differing on getting this one after the fallout series, I recommend getting it.
This is going to be another great series! It's a nice blend of other characters from other books for us avid fans while not confusing the new fan to be.
What a sad end to this part of the story, can't wait to listen to the next instalment,
