Narrators & Intriguing story

These are 2 of the best narrators for her books. I give them thumbs up every time. The story is good and they make it fantastical. Thanks

I love hearing things from Danis view! Iced is one of my favorites from the fever series!

WOW! All i can say is "Dude!"

Generally I have found but I don't really enjoy a second series involving spin-off characters from a beloved author.
That said.... OMG! You have to get this! It's MEGA amazing. I thought I would miss Mac and Barrons but I really didn't; the development of the supporting characters from the Fever series is fulfilling.
This book proves Dani is a strong enough hero to stand on her own.
If you didn't read the Fever series I think you can still enjoy this one.
Don't worry the voices and narrator chemistry are still magical.
I couldn't stop listening.

Outstanding and Impressive!

I found this book to be an engrossing story and an excellent listen! This is my first experience with KM Moning's writing and now I will be encouraged to check out out her other books. Enjoyable writing that is not dumbed down even though the story is told through the main character who is a young fourteen-year-old girl. Excellent characters that really drew me in! The main character Dani is very endearing. She is courageous and smart, and even pretty wise-for-her-age about some aspects of her life and her world around her. The other characters were creepy-good, except for her good friend Dancer who is not creepy. The narration is quite good and really brought the story to life...just one caveat: they could have been just a little more careful (in production?) with the female narrators voice as far as tone and volume so it was a little easier to catch every word. Overall, a great story with good plot and pacing, and what an ending! I will be looking forward to the next book in this series!

If you could sum up Iced in three words, what would they be?

What a great book, I don't want to say to much other than you will not be dissapointed. I did not want to put it down, I love the way she portrays Dani fits a 14 yr old to a T. Anyway can't wait for the next book!

What did you like best about this story?

The humor between the characters and the actual things they said that made me laugh.

What about Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross ’s performance did you like?

Well I love the guy who does the voice of Lor My goodness he actually makes the character like someone you know. They were both great and I hope they do not change them in the next books now that I have heard tham that is what I will expect to hear. They are FANTASTIC!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I like when dani talks about Dancer and that she has not understood yet that he is becoming more than a freind or seems to be.

Any additional comments?

Yeah people are really getting the wrong Idea about this book who are reading it and not hearing it on audible at first I was confussed about the grown men liking a 14 yr old too but I am thinking perhaps it is almost in a fatherly way and remember these supposed men are 500 or better years anyway so any age would be an infant for them LOL. It's a book people if your reading it for sex wake your husband or boyfriend up! Truthfully though hearing it read helps alot. READ IT BETTER YET LISTEN TO IT YOU'LL LOVE IT IF YOU LIKED THE FEVER SERIES!

More Please!

This is a must listen book. If you haven't then get it right now. Natalie Ross, and Phil Gigante, you rock. Dani and the other characters, well just Wow. Bring on more books! I almost cried at the end didn't want it to end.

"ANOTHER WINNER"

Totally enjoyed the Dani O'Malley character. She is young, innocent, and totally a hero of the people. Lately all the books in the “Paranormal Fantasy” genre are falling closer and closer to the “Romance” genre. This book is very entertaining without all the romantic dialogue.

If this book is any indication, K Moning is delivering a spin-off series that is captivating, entertaining, and “Fecking unbelievable” in the words of Dani O'Malley.

If you are into a book just for the steamy romantic ride, then this book might not be for you. However if you are into a book for the author ability to deliver a well-developed, extremely entertaining story, then you might enjoy the story of Dani O’Malley.

I have listened to this book twice and can't wait for the next Dani O'Malley book.

Definitely not disappointed

I really found it hard to stop listening to this book once I got started. Natalie Ross and Phil Gigante do not disappoint with this narration. They kept the usual voices for characters found in the Fever series the same.

As for the story, I think KMM did a great job of keeping in mind this story is froma 14 year old's perspective. I honestly can't wait to see how the continuation of the story goes, especially since the first one dended kind of abruptly (but it was not a cliffhanger. It was just enough to keep you interested for the next book).

Would Not Recommend

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Absolutely not. I'm not sure why this is for adults... the only reason that I could gather why this book is in the adult section is the occasional use of big words; each occurrence is pointed out by the author. All of the adults in the book seem to live and follow the rules of a 14-year old girl. I was kind of disturbed by the fawning over Dani by grown men.

What could Karen Marie Moning have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Market it to young adults.

What does Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrators were well chosen for this book. They were able to able to breath some life into otherwise one dimensional characters.

Did Iced inspire you to do anything?

No.

Another perfect package!

Would you consider the audio edition of Iced to be better than the print version?

YES! I read the book as soon as it was released, then purchased the audio book. The audio book is amazing. The narrators really breathe life into the characters and the emotions run true in every chapter. Fantastic performance!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Iced?

******Spoilers******* When Danny gets hypothermia in the church. I love how helpless the "alpha" males become and have to rely on a human to save her.

What does Phil Gigante and Natalie Ross bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

They give an amazing performance. I think I would buy any book they read together. I love Natalie Ross's voice for Danny. And Phil Gigante's voice for Tor gave me chills! I love the chapter of Christian's inner dialogue- I had to listen twice- it was THAT good!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!

I am very much looking forward to Burned- I really hope both narrators continue in the next book *hint hint audible*
