2nd time around
I finished book 12 and decided to begin the series again....then discovered book 13 which I'm saving until I get through the series again.
Such suspense with twists and turns that would keep even a seasoned detective captive!

In my top faves!
I freaking love this series! I am listening for the 3rd time in the last 2 years. Lots of twists and turns. You don't always know what is coming and I love that. Too many books are like so many others or you already know what is going to happen without finishing it. Boring! This is not that kind of book. This author has such an awesome and relatable character base as Charley and her friends take the cake. Personality wise, she says out loud what we all just think. Hilarious and fun! Keeps you on your toes. Love this author and one of my all time favorite narrators. I highly recommend!

another fantastic read by Darynda Jones. This book made me laugh out loud and cry, which to me means its a great read. its super easy to get thru, in fact i finished it in just over 1 day.

Absolutely Delectable!
As usual, Lorelei King did an amazing job as narrator! She breathes life into every character. Darynda Jones is a true storyteller. Brilliantly crafted, complexity within each of her main characters lured me in, Charley's wandering inner dialogue and smart quips kept me entertained, and the hot romance with Reyes had me on the edge of my seat. On to the next one.... I can't stop now, but I dread the impending day when I reach the last book and actually have to wait until the next is written. I don't think I have the required amount of sanity needed to wait that long...

Charley the grimm reaper is fun, fun, fun
Love all of the Charley Davidson books. They are fun and witty. The cahracters are all loveable. Highly entertaining. No other narrator could do as well as Lorelei King. She really knows how to pull off a spunky character.
