I don't buy the print version so have nothing to compare it to.

What did you like best about this story?

Each story reveals unknown depths. This one is no exception to that rule.

Which scene was your favorite?

The breaking down of the barrier boxes ... it was time to replace the memory and clear it out.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely!

I thought the first book a little slow but I am very glad that I continued on! Definitely a different take on this subject by the author.

Love this series.

I love this series. I love that Charley is such a smart ass, even when everything is down, she is able to fall back on being a smart ass. Charley has an extremely rough life. If I were her, I would've curled up in a ball and you couldn't get me out.

Charley does start off the book in that type of mental state, but pulls out of it. I'm still amazed at her father, which ended the last book by trying to have her arrested. This book he is even worse. I have no idea what is wrong with this guy.

I'm still not sure what I think of Reyes. One minute I think he is an okay guy, then the next, I just want Charley to send him back to hell.

Overall, I LOVE this series. I just can't get enough. I can't see where Charley goes next and what she will learn about herself and her powers.

What comes next, you never know. I can't stop listening. Darynda's writing makes you feel like you are there. Best narrating ever.

Charlie, She's kicks butt!

AWESOME!!!!!! She brought Charlie to life! I really think she connected with Charlie! Couldn't be better!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When She and Rayous would battle the demons and then come together.

You must read all of these books! You will love them

Loved the books and the performance!

I always liked the books, however, the performance. by Loralie was first rate and it feels new again listening to them. I recommend the series. Charlie is awesome smartass. plus all that she learns on her journey makes her character so special.

Any additional comments?

I enjoy the quirkiness of the characters throughout this series but I would like to see the heroine come into her own a bit more quickly. This is the fourth book and it seems she's only starting to "get it". I still give it 4 stars (as with the previous three) b/c I really enjoy the nutty humor between the characters, the story moves along, the narrator is enjoyable and I am eager to make my way through the book even if I get a little impatient with our heroine.

Would you consider the audio edition of Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet to be better than the print version?

I think I do, but I have only been buying the audio of this series. I can't get past Lorelei King's acting out the different characters in the book. How am I ever going to hear Reyes's voice??? Sexy as hell where he is supposed to be a native of.

What other book might you compare Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet to and why?

Maybe the Night Huntress series.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The way she acts the characters perfectly. If she was not listed as the lone actor I would have thought the book was read by different people.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When I got to know that the woman who came to Charlie for help was already dead. That was tough. Then when her step brother also learned of her death, (he was in love with her) his heart wrenching sobbing, and her father's grief also.

Another awesome mix of mystery, suspense and hot moments. As the main character continues to grow, the author twirls two fantastic crimes to solve into the mix. Never a dull moment.
