Publisher's summary

Karen Marie Moning's "Fever" series is a coast-to-coast hit! The first two titles in this national best-selling series, Darkfever and Bloodfever, appeared on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly best-seller lists.

In Faefever, Karen Marie Moning returns to the shadowy Dublin Otherworld in an undeniably sexy novel her fans are feverish for.

Changed by the choices she made in order to survive, Mac no longer is the naïve, idealistic, and glamorous girl newly arrived in Dublin. Now, on a quest to find her sister's killer, she is a major player in a deadly game, but with one great advantage: she knows how to find the one thing Fae and human alike are willing to kill for - the Sinsar Dubh, an ancient book of magic so dark it corrupts anyone who touches it.

What Mac soon discovers, however, is worse than she had imagined. Surrounded by treachery, her enemies indistinguishable from her allies, she can be certain of only one thing - as All Hallows' Eve approaches, her time is running out.

The FAKE accent!

I really enjoy this series, second only to Laurrel K Hamilton's Anita Blake series. The writing is brilliant and each book was hard to put down and even harder to wait for the next!
My only challenge is the audio edition. This is not a historical fiction! This is a modern urban fantasy which truly needs a modern southern accent. It kills the story for me.

loved

the only ONLY thing I did not like about this reading was that the narrator sounded much more mature (older) than I imagined a 21 year old to sound.

If you’ve come this far. . .

This book had a much tighter pace than the previous two. Impossible not to binge.

Addicted like I had eating a wriggling sandwich!

Enjoyable read

What made the experience of listening to Faefever the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the dynamic of the characters. The interaction between them is really relatable and it really does make the pages fly by when reading. I loved the story and I love that it's hard to put down.

What other book might you compare Faefever to and why?

What about Joyce Bean’s performance did you like?

I like how she is concise and very easily understood her voice is easy to listen too

On 5th book!!

I downloaded the first three books as a "three for the price of two" deal. I've purchased the next two! Story gets drawn out at times, but listening to see how it all wraps up. Only bummer, books four and five use different narrarator. Takes some getting use to becasue all the accents and voices are different. Should have used a male and female from book one and kept throughout.

Faefever Indeed!

I love, love, love this series. The story line is intricate and interesting, even though it seemed drag a bit. The narrator is spectacular and perfect for the voice of Mac. Did i say I love this series? Apparently, the narrator changes for the next book and I'm a little apprehensive because she has some big shoes to fill.

Um, this is where it gets interesting

If you were already hooked on the series, be prepared to become obsessed. The ending of book 3 is one hell of a cliffhanger.

Not my favorite

This one wasn't as good as the last books but was still a great addition. I feel like it's just starting to really drag out what Blaine is and who she can trust and it's starting to get more annoying than anything... In the other hand I love the series and it is still GREAT writing and great characters.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. Second time reading.

Who thought this narrator would be good for this AMAZING series?? Sheesh!! This is my first audible so not a great impression Mac Lane is 22.. Heller? Why are we using a 50 year old voice to narrate? and I'm of that decade so that's saying something.
