chapter 30

chapter 30 at around 5 minutes in has an audio artifact that scrambled a few sentences. I wish I knew what was said.

Favorite so far

This has been my absolute favorite of the Dresden books thus far. It had me laughing quite a few times while listening. The story was interesting and not always predictable. I enjoyed listening to it enough that I'll probably buy it to read.

Harry Levels Up

Harry starts using hell fire in his magic. not willingly as is from Lassiel, but still.

He also becomes a warden of the white counsel.

Butters also levels up a bit and grows a backbone.

One of the best in the series

Butcher has reached the point in the series where it’s almost impossible to down. I read the series years ago but listening to it with Marsters’ performance brings new excitement to it

second time around

I never expected to listen to the series a second time around, but....

IT WAS GOOD THE FIRST TIME AROUND. IT IS BETTER THE SECOND TIME. I find myself picking up details that I missed the first time through and knowing where the story is going isn't a problem, it may make it better.

Another winner

Like every other Dresden book I’ve purchased this was an awesome wild ride with the best normal guy ( who just happens to be a wizard) hero!

One of my favorites so far

The voice narration has gotten so much better! Loving the music in the credits. And the story just continues to get better, the character development deeper.

Finding a misplaced shoe:

I think this may just be the book the shows that Mr Butcher finds his pace for all of the main characters, save one! That’s almost as rewarding as finding an elusive missing shoe— despite the fact that you found it where you’d already searched several times…….!!!
