Publisher's summary

Death was his art. She would be his masterpiece.

They called him Leonardo - a master skilled in the art of murder. One year ago, Cincinnati was his canvas. A scalpel was his tool. And women were his works-in-progress. FBI profiler Casey McKinley was one of them, a victim of Leonardo's twisted genius. She has the scars - and the nightmares - to prove it.

For Casey, a new city means a life far from the one she left behind in Cincinnati. In San Francisco she finally feels safe. Until a series of eerily familiar slayings plunges her back into Leonardo's game. Now she must catch this clever killer before he can unveil his ultimate masterpiece. Only this time she'll play by a different set of rules - hers.

Heart-pounding and Terrifying!

No one has me scared to death more than Danielle Girard’s thrillers! Thank God I read and listen to the audio version of my books if not I would never be able to get up out of my chair since I can't put her books down. I am often find myself saying ” What is wrong with me reading these books!”
My muscles tightening and l holding my breath I think this is well worth the read!

really good

I really liked this story, and the narrator did a great job. No author is perfect so I quit nitpicking a long time ago, and I enjoy books so much more now.

I really liked this book.

I always enjoy cases where you know the background of the killers. Think Mindhunter. Pretty realistic and no big twist!

Women in brave positions

Story a bit unbelievable but intriguing. Performance was really good. It does make me want to read more of Ms. Girard’s books.

Girard’s early work is enjoyable!

Savage Art is an older book first published in 2000. The plot is good if you like darker reads. The narration is fanatic and I think Nicol Zanzarella’s made the story more enjoyable. I think the book summary is good and I will not add more. If you like Danielle Girard’s other books I’m sure you will like this one too.

Great story

Absolutely loved this from page one. strong characters and believable story line. the only bad thing would be the ending, I felt it was a little lacking, but overall a great read. Also love the narrator, she is great!

I only listened to the story for an hour. It was extremely boring so I returned it
