Publisher's summary

This bundle contains Ruined Kingdom and Broken Queen and tells the complete story of Amadeo, Vittoria, and Bastian!

Loyalty. Duty. Deceit.

I never imagined my first trip to Italy would be to bury my father. But there I stood, alone in the ancient cathedral with my father’s casket, a handful of soldiers standing guard.

It never occurred to me that anyone would disrupt the sanctity of the moment. But the Caballero brothers have little regard for the church and even less for my family. They marched in, weapons in hand, and turned my world upside down.

They shattered what peace I had. They desecrated my father’s body. And they took what they wanted. Me.

I’m a princess in a tower in a breathtaking villa. My bedroom overlooks the turquoise sea, but the door is locked.

And I have to contend with not one but two dragons.

Brothers

There were some really good moments in this story. Especially the first part, but the second part was definitely predictable. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I also wouldn’t talk bad about it either. 3.5 ⭐️ 4 🌶️

Great STORY!

1st let me say I LOVE JAMES CASSIDY’s Voice!! He really brings these tough , dark, dangerous men to life! Swoon worthy!

As for the story, I really loved the whole story, I found myself deeply engrossed in what was going on and it was hard for me to put it down to go to sleep or even work! I delved in and finished both books in 2 days. This is the first story that I actually fell in love with more than one man and was rooting for them both to win the girl! Very very happy with the conclusion! What a ride!

pretty good overall

The narration of the FMC's tone & inflection sounds off quite a bit; like it's too hard or with too much effort. & the FMC does not seem to have good deduction or analytical thinking & comes off sounding willfully naive around alot of her family's situations, excluding her doctor erased memories. Other than that, the book is pretty good.

Worth a credit

What did I dislike? The female narrator had way too much angst in her voice throughout the whole story. I loved the male narrator. I felt he did a good job with both male voices. I could always tell one brother from the other. I love this author and always love a happily ever after.

Dark and interesting

I started this story and was unable to turn it off. I listened all night and had to work the next morning. The story was great and intriguing never knowing what would happen next.

Gross, Gross!

Spoiler alert!
Brothers sharing..No!…No!
I could not get pass two brothers sharing one woman. Story was good without that element of brother being with a single woman. Super gross.

Not One, but Two Hot Brothers?? Sign Me Up!

Maybe the storyline was a bit OTT - I've never listened to or read a title where the heroine just kept getting abducted and either raped or there were attempted assaults so it felt a little repetitive. The great thing was the romance and spicy scenes with 2 smokin' hot brothers!! James Cassidy is new to me...he has an amazing voice so I really enjoyed his performance of Bastian and Amadeo. And of course I loved his performance as Uncle Sunny...lol. That scene that Cassidy performed with Bastian and little Emma after Vittoria had been abducted again was beautiful and precious. I am familiar with Stefanie Kay and although I think she's a great performer, my only pet peeve is that I feel like she sounds a bit overdramatic in scenes that don't call for it. Loved the action and getting to cameos of other characters - 🍷 to Dominic Benedetti 😘

4 starz - worthy of a repeat listen
