Publisher's summary

Tegen Matthews is the daughter of Dorothy Kelley, a club whore in the Hell's Horsemen. A plain little girl, Tegen falls into the gritty world of the motorcycle club. When she meets a sweet, caring boy, she embraces the warmth and affection he shows her.

Cage West is the son of the president of the Hell's Horsemen. Tall and blond with deep brown eyes, as he grows up Cage realizes the power of his dimpled smile and smooth drawl. With one chance encounter, Tegen becomes forever tied to Cage.

Following is a wayward journey that is filled with regrets, mistakes, and heartache, pulling at the threads that hold them together. Cage and Tegen fight hard but love harder, and in the end, what matters is where the journey takes one girl and one boy, who have been twined with one another since the beginning.

Best biker series ever!

These books have all been soooooo good! There's a storyline, plot, love, romance and ALOT of the p and f words. I love that all the main characters recur throughout the series and the narration is just phenomenal! I hope #4 is not the end of the series!

Not my fav but still good

Cage and Tegan's story was good, but not my favorite of the series. I'm glad that the book included others stories with a surprise development for "Dirty". Nice!
On to the next book. I really hope that Madeline is furiously writing and recording so that when I'm done this next book is available on audible. 😉

Strongly disliked Tegan...

You get to see and learn more about favourite characters, as the story arc moves forward. I liked Cage but I really disliked Tegan. And poor ZZ, I expect his story will be epic.

Tegen is a Damn Hypocrite and the Worst Character

Would you try another book from Madeline Sheehan and/or Tatiana Sokolov?

I would and I have. I love the Undeniable series, it is gritty, violent and actually realistic. This is probably my least favourite of all the books, mainly because Tegen is such a painful character.

I love Ellie and Dirty's story, it held me riveted, listening to every word with a sad heart. Dirty is such a badly damaged man, almost damaged beyond repair. You find out what made him the way he is and though you know he has done awful things, you understand it. Ellie wasn't the "here's some sunshine, now you're all better!" kind of character. She was understandably alarmed by Dirty and his dysfunction, but as she understands what has made him that way she feels the urge to try and help him. It isn't an easy road for either of them, but listening to them slowly over come the issues was really touching.

I only gave the book 3 stars as I found Tegen and Cage's story just too damn frustrating. Tegen isn't a cool, take-no-shit, strong female character. She is an immature, disrespectful and most of all HYPOCRYTICAL asshole. Every time she said something I felt like rolling my eyes and saying "Oh, just shut UP!" I honestly don't get why Cage is attracted to her at all. She is nasty, negative about every damn thing and spiteful. Tegen is constantly calling Cage a slut/ whore and stupid and fighting with him over the smallest, stupidest things. It's exhausting listening to her shit. Any self respecting person would have told her to fuck off already. I find it funny how she is talking shit about Cage, his club and how much she hates Bikers, yet she's been pining for Cage all those years and even when she moves away from the Club she starts fucking Zizi? That makes no sense.

It also irked me that Tegen was seemingly dumb to Zizi's feelings towards her when he outright told her that he wasn't sleeping with anyone else, only her. Then she goes and starts sleeping with Cage and getting ga-ga about him, not once thinking about Zizi.

Tegen is a hypocritical, dumb bitch who doesn't deserve the nice guy Cage becomes for her.

Would you recommend Unattainable to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, because I really enjoyed Ellie and Dirty's story.

What does Tatiana Sokolov bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tatiana Sokolov is a great narrator. She really gets into the emotions the characters are feeling and I really like her narration of male characters - she somehow manages to make them sound sexy!

Was Unattainable worth the listening time?

Yes it was, except for Tegen's parts. I sometimes skipped ahead.

Any additional comments?

Tegen is disgusting.

In the minority?

I absolutely loved book 2. It was gritty and raw and kept me on my toes. Book 3 fell short for me. I don't know if it was fitting 2 sets of stories together in 1 book or that I didn't connect to dirty's character that leave me disappointed. It was worth a listen to hear the story but definitely won't be on my must repeat list. The Tatiana Sokolov's did an amazing job with the narration.

This one I didn’t like as much as the others

There was just way too much arguing and fighting and cussing in this book.
The bikers are supposed to be about family and brotherhood. I enjoyed the first couple books in the series. But this was not a book that I would listen to again. Too much anger and not enough story. w
I couldn’t really call it a romance
Cage and his woman spent most of the book fighting and hating each other.
