Publisher's summary

Despite spilled blood and broken bones, from the ashes Blood Fury will once again rise.

Trip, son of the former president of the Blood Fury MC, is determined to resurrect his dead father's destroyed club. It’ll be a long, difficult road as the new president attempts to rebuild the club from the cold ashes left behind.

Bad blood and bitter memories are only some of the obstacles Trip has to overcome. The local police department, Manning Grove PD, is another, since they don’t want to see their small town once again overrun by outlaw bikers.

Then there’s Stella, a local bar owner and a major distraction Trip doesn’t need, but can’t resist, even though she gives him every reason to. She’s tough, she’s broken, and the last thing she wants in her life is a man like him.

In the end, Trip has to decide if the war is worth fighting. And if Stella is the warrior he needs battling by his side.

Blood & Bones: Trip is the first book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger, and has an HEA. While it’s recommended to listen to my Brothers in Blue series first, it’s not necessary.

Am now a fan of MC audiobooks

I wasn't really a fan of MC audiobooks to begin with simply because it seems like a lot of them try to be SOA knockoffs and the subject matter is so damn dark. I like the Trip has a checkered past but he's not a bad guy, just a guy who made mistakes and did his time and is now trying to fix something that crashed and burned. I'm a fan of Trip and Stella for sure, Stella is tough woman who is certainly pushed to her breaking point, and is, like a lot of us, very hesitant to ask for help because she either doesn't believe anyone can or will and because she doesn't want to be in anyones debt. It's hard to admit to yourself that you're not cutting it, her own history is very sad but not so sad as it feels like moving on is inappropriate. It's good to see her and Trip repair their relationship and the background of the story with Trips pursuit to mixing the MC isn't a huge distraction. Not too much drama but a good story for sure. The narration is great and both narrators captures the characters perfectly, My only problem is that there are only a few books out of the series translated to audiobooks, I'm going to need a more substantial fix. Trip & Stella all the way. Worth the credit again and again.

Trip & Stella

Good start to this series. Jeanne St James is a wonderful author. She has so much talent in her writing abilities that she reaches down within you with each word, each sentence and pulls it to the surface and lays it out in front of you to where you see and understand the vision she had making you feel everything deep down within her story. She is truly a master of storytelling and the goddess of MC Romances. Nobody does the Bikers like JSJ. In this book you have Trip and Stella and both have deep heartache. Trip goes back to town to try and put the Blood Fury MC back together that his father was the president of. He has a long road ahead of him but starts to make real progress. He goes looking for an original member of BFMC, Crazy Pete, at his bar when he meets Stella. They both had grown up in the MC but haven't seen one another in a long time. Stella knew when she was 11yrs old that she was going to marry Trip. The fall of the club started and their mothers left taking their kids with them and the club ended up being no more. That was 20 years ago. Now, Trip is 35 and Stella 31. The story doesnt have much action because it is based on Trip trying to revive the club by getting the clubhouse fixed up, getting members, finding new ways to make some "scratch", remodeling an old motel, towing business, the bar that Stella now owns (the mc club actually owns half of it) and also the blooming relationship between Trip & Stella. I loved Trip♥️. He is so determined, smart, sexy and all alpha. He knew he wanted Stella when he saw her at the bar. Stella on the other hand kinda got on my nerves most of the time. She mostly fought Trip about their relationship until the final chapter of the book. I understood why, but she based everything on the actions of her ex husband and the previous mc members. She had also went through something that no one should have to and it was heartbreaking. I also found this book to be funny in many chapters. I think chapter 6 is where Trip goes to talk to Judge, who is like the Diesel of this club and Deacon. It was funny and then there's the chapter with Teddy from the Brothers in Blue books. IT WAS HILARIOUS! The narrators were great. Ava always is and JF Harding....my goodness! That man has one sexy as hell voice as Trip. 🔥🔥 The book was crazy hot. I cant wait to listen to Sigs story next as well as all of the books in his series. I only pray that we dont have to wait that long before audible gets it out for us all. I'm anxious to listen to Shades story. Thank you Jeanne for what I know will be a great series.

Blood & Bones: Trip

I don’t read a lot of MC books because I don’t like some of the ins and outs of MC life. But something about the way this author delivers a story sucks me in, each and every time.

What a great first book to start a series, I loved Trip I loved that he has a clear picture of what he wants and what he doesn’t. He isn’t willing to budge on it.

Stella I think surprised him, don’t think he thought he would fall the way he did. Nor she for him it was fun to listen to. I very much think he is helping her heal and that is special, because that kind of loss that kind of pain needs to be released. It will never be forgotten but released and heals yes.

Can’t wait to listen to more of this series!
Please tell me we get more of the hairstylist and his boyfriend, because that was an awesome scene I want more.

Very much enjoyed the narration, I am a huge fan of Ava she is fantastic and J.F. was a perfect Trip!

J.F. Harding NEED I SAY MORE?

Since listening to "The Ties That Bind" by D.A. Young I have a thang for MC Romances novels. J.F. Harding has the absolute perfect voice for a biker bad boy turned good(to a degree). Although forceful at times to help his reluctant leading lady their rekindled connection was so worth the listen.

Narrator

There is a male and female voice. I kind of wish they make read the male and the female read the male but other then that a very enjoyable story

Great beginning to a new series

Everything was well timed and blended into the introduction of new characters and understanding the 20 year history of what happens was well developed. Definitely worth the credit!

Completely Addictive

If you haven't read or listened to any of Jeanne St. James books you are truly missing out. Blood & Bones : Trip is the story of Trip and Stella both who's parents were part of a motorcycle club that went bad and was dead and buried for 20 years but Trip wanted to bring it back and make it better to create a family without all the bad that had destroyed it the first time. Trip was one man with a vision and built it up bringing together the originals sons and new blood ,to create a brotherhood and found Stella who once was a young girl who followed him around at the club at 11 she would tell him at 15 he would be her husband someday then she was just a annoying little girl to him. Then the club fell apart and he hadn't seen her for twenty years but now the tables have turned and he was pursuing her but they both had troubled past to overcome. This story is emotional, sweet, and it builds great characters that you as a reader or listener will want to keep up with just to find out where they end up. I loved this story and highly recommend it, its excellently written and excellently preformed. I'm a huge fan of Ava Lucas as a narrator and her ability to bring live to the characters. Ava Lucas and J.F Harding's narration of this story is exceptionally preformed I give them 5 stars as well as Jeanne St James
