Male narrator ruined it

I love Angels halo series and was so excited for this book. The female narrator was good but the male narrator just ruined it for me. I forced my way through just to hear the story. Sadly he narrates the rest of the series so I will not be listening.

Great book, okay narration

What a great start to a new series! Angel’s Halo MC is one of my favorites and this new spin-off series did not disappoint. Lexa and Ben are such a fun couple to read about. The audiobook narration is not as good as the narration in the first series, but still enjoyable.

Ben and Lexa

A seductively sensual, fiery, and intensely captivating ride to go on with Ben and Lexa. An great start to the next generation of Angels Halo MC. It was great to visit with old friends and to see the kids grown. I enjoyed every single moment of this story.

it's ok

I was not fond of narration, it sounded amateur with poor flow, and almost digital at times. Storyline was good with good plot twist. This is one I would have rather read than listened to.

Weak Story - Weaker Male Narrator

Struggled to finish. First chapter was confusing, as if a prologue was missing. As much as I loved original series I was dissapointed with the start of Next Gen. Not a stand alone story, so many people were introduced without character development, that without prior knowledge of their roles they were confusing or superfluous. I had to stop and download original series to refresh my memory on all the back stories.

Missed the strong personalities - everyone watered down and went from super to cheesy with no in-between. Lackluster hero and heroine. Even the bad guys were just meh.

Perhaps a different male narrator could have helped but this actor was painful to listen too, no matter what speed tried. The hero's voice was so bad and all the other males sounded like wimps. For some reason all of his females, with exception of heroine and her mother, sounded like they were from The Bronx...weird.

Will be returning this credit.

Repetitive

Alexa gets really annoying and the back and forth between her and Ben gets old. They basically have the same argument over and over throughout the entire story. There are other ways to convey conflict.

OK start

So I might have liked this one better had I read it myself instead of going with the audio. First the parents voices were all off for me honestly Raven is not that sweet and why do Flick and Willa sound like bad NY accents? Though I do have to say Wolstencroft definitely did a better job than Bloomquist I don't know what he was going for there. As for the story itself, I can see the insecurities for Lexa and with what is going on being a little unsure but she was stronger as a child in the other books so this depiction was not expected for me. For me I felt like we were thrust into the middle of a story and I was missing something though I have read all the related series so It just had a weird timeline for me. Now I'm all for romance having leeway with instalove and what not but I mean the initial meeting happens OP and then he's can't live with out her in love and we don't even have a proper introduction to him yet . I found myself rewinding several times to see if I missed something.

Change the Male Narrator!

The male voice performance is really bad and distracts from the book. I hope there is a change for the other books on the series.

Don’t waste a credit or money

The narrators totally killed it. I could’ve finished if it was only the female narrator but the male narrator murdered the story!! He sounds computer generated. Honestly, he had more spunk reading for other male characters but when it came to the sheriff, none. Nope, just no!! I really hate this as the original series rocked. But I will not be finishing this one nor listening to the other 3 I bought. Ugh!
