Loved it!
Phil Gigante is a GREAT narrator. The voices of the women didn't bother me at all. The story was touching and sexy and sometimes just plain hot! Reading it in the car caused me to drive with all my windows up though.

Narrator makes the story come to life
Who was your favorite character and why?
I really liked Adriana's housekeeper and wonder what happened to her. She was definitely a side character, but a very loyal friend of Adriana's as well.
Have you listened to any of Phil Gigante’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Oh, yes. I really love Phil Gigante's narrations in these books, as well as the ones with Mack in them. He also narrates some of the Carpathian novels by Christine Feehan. I was not disappointed.
Any additional comments?
I have already downloaded the next book in the series. It will be fun to learn more about Grim.

Not very true to Period, but Nice listen
I liked the story and the performance. The characters are a little too "modern" for the 16 century, but it was still a great listen!

amazing series
Honestly I started backwards and read the fever series first which is primarily fantasy and secondarily romantic. I was apprehensive about highlander series because I was worried it would diminish the fever series' author in my mind but I was wrong.
In short, yes, it is a somewhat typical of romance novel with virgin women and alpha men but that shouldn't be a complaint if you're reading this type of book, it IS what you like afterall! The book series is romance on STEROIDS and it has plot development that's unique to Karen Marie Moning and I literally wasn't able to pull any of them down. The first 10 minute sucks you in entirely.
Phil Gigante is on my top three for narrators and he definitely never, ever disappoints!
The only CON is that I'm done with ALL her books and now what??? :-D write more please and faster, too.

Love this book.
What did you love best about To Tame a Highland Warrior?
Love this book as much as the 1st one. The steamy hot love scenes are really vivid for the imagination. I'm hooked on the series.
What about Phil Gigante’s performance did you like?
Read very well.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This series sure makes working go fast when listening to these books.

Overall masterful piece. I loved the narration but I am biased against male narrators that depict female voices. But that's just me.

Great Listen
I really liked this one, it was a change of view for me, and I was instantly entertained by the reader and stroy line; a bit long in the beginning but story kept me listening.
