Publisher's summary

To satisfy his late father’s wishes, hot and single billionaire Michael Conte must find a bride - someone who will fit into his traditional family back home in Italy - and fast, so his engaged sister will be allowed to wed. With no intention of being tied down, Michael "proposes" to fiery, free-spirited photographer Maggie Ryan: If she will play the part of his fiancée during her trip to Milan for a photo shoot, he will keep away from her married best friend, Alexa, and stop making Maggie nuts with their too-close-for-comfort flirtations.

But once in Italy, sexual tension sparks the hottest no-strings-attached arrangement on any continent. Could marriage be the most enticing trap of all?

2nd Book was great too.

The second book in the series had a slow start, but it was very interesting. Loved the new characters. Great ending.

A Steamy and Fun Read

The Marriage Trap by Jennifer Probst is passionately sexy and emotionally compelling. Mia Amore! It sure did surpass my expectations.

I won't reiterate the plot; I think the synopsis does a fine job of that.

I loved the characters in this book, Michael is the kind of guy dreams are made of; Handsome, loyal, family oriented, compassionate a guy with a big heart. Maggie is my kinda girl; strong, independent, feisty and sassy to the end.
Together Michael and Maggie were dynamite; their chemistry was scorching HOT!

I loved the Conte family dynamics in this book, the strong family ties worked well in moving along the plot.

Hot and Funny!!

What made the experience of listening to The Marriage Trap the most enjoyable?

I got totally lost in the characters. The main characters were wonderfully written, but it was the secondary characters that added so much more to the story. Not to mention Probst series builds the next book on his sister (a secondary character).

What did you like best about this story?

Simply a great escape. I love a book with romance, comedy and a little bit of mmm.

What about Madeleine Maby’s performance did you like?

Madeleine Maby is one of my favorite performers. I could listen to her read the cereal box.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book did make me laugh out loud several times. Not to mention I had the need to fan myself several times. Probst did a wonderful job writing.

A light Italian romance with humor

This was a welcomed listen. Sometimes you need something light. Like Dante the cat, Maggie could be too strong-willed, distant & stubborn. Michael's met his match with Maggie. It was worth my credit because I needed humor, travel, and romance. Madeleine Maby is a good narrator.

Maggie and Michael...Yes Please!!!

I love Michael he does something for me. The heat between him and Maggie makes me fan myself. This is my second time listen to this book.

These stories by Jennifer touch your heart. They are broken people who found themselves with the help of a new love. I like how you laugh, cry and then laugh again with these books.

Another Simple romance, but I liked it

She did it again!

If you're looking for a simple romance book to burn a few hours of your time, then this one is for you. Like the first book the story is a little unbelievable and completely predictable but I still enjoyed it. I liked the narrator too.

Looking forward to the next installment.
