What did you love best about The Marriage Bargain?
My favorite thing about the book is how it unfolds and you don't know how it is going to end. I really liked the dog aspect of the story.

Lexi is my favorite character. I love how she is full of love and she can stand up to Nick.

When they are debating about the Yankees and the Mets.

Just perfect....

A bargain...
I really liked this book. It is the epitome of a typical chic-lit rom/com kind of thing... except as light hearted as it is it’s also verrry good!
Tons of chemistry and some good sex but it’s not sex driven. It’s the personal journeys that make it.
Excellent narration too!
I wish the rest of the series was in the romance package. Woe is me, it time to use my credits....

Does a Love Spell make this Sci-Fi/Fantasy
No, but since that was the only type of romance novel I listened to I gave this ultra modern story a chance. Thank heaven I did. I love Nick and I love Alexa. If you want a story to make your heart swoon or (spoiler alert) you want to remember to breath because you can drop your consciousness into Alexa’s body while Nick gets busy then this is the story for you. Jennifer’s words and Coleen’s narration defiantly cast a spell on me. I’ve now listened to several non-sci fi / fantasy romance novels all because of this one book. Such a joy!

Loved it!
Let me start by saying I did not expect to enjoy this book so much. When I read the summary, the idea seemed appealing but the narrator completely turned me off with her rhyming voice. Nevertheless, I kept wanting more from the storyline and fell in love with the characters immediately. I am glad I did it. The story was sad, happy and sweet in all the right places.

Fun fluff!
A simple and predictable story, but it was also funny and pretty entertaining. Unlike other books in this genre, it was nice that they were childhood friends and had a basis for the fun banter and teasing. Overall, it's really light and has some laugh out loud moments.

Loved this story even more in audio!
