Loved it 💜

I loved that Sebastian got his tale. I appreciate so much being able to read and enjoy a story that has some, but not obnoxious amounts of, angst. A lighthearted read, with thoroughly enjoyable characters.

Rosalyn Landor was, as usual, fantastic. I lover her representation of Annabelles grandmother.

3 things I love about you would have been better

This was my first Julia Quinn book and I did enjoy it though she used terms that did not fit the time properly. If you are willing to overlook that then the book was very entertaining. I would have given the book a 4.5 if it was available but well including it here is just as well. The only thing I did not like about this book was the ten things JQ kept listing in the book. A bit silly especially since they were not all meaningful points. Nevertheless, If you like historical romance then this book is a good one to listen to.

Pure Fun

PROS:
* This book is just so fun. Cute, lighthearted (for the most part), funny, etc.
* I have a soft spot for dark, handsome heroes that have such a marshmallow center (and aren't afraid to show it!).
*The heroine is someone who seems to love herself unabashedly.
* Rosalyn Landor, as always, does a stunning job narrating.

CONS:
*Because of the sometimes list format used, it's a little awkward to hear. Like What Happens in London, I think some formats are better read than heard.

Not bad. Not great either.

The storyline fell a little short in my opinion. The hero’s past, which wasn’t too thoroughly explained was a downfall. Then the explanation for the uncle’s hate for his nephew was almost… generic. My favorite character wasn’t the hero or heroine, but rather the grandmother. She was quite the character.

There are only two scenes that really left a lasting impression. 1. The dinner scene. 2. The grandmother to the rescue scene. I barely stifled my laughter at work to which I’m sure my coworker now thinks I’ve gone crazy.

The narrator was exceptional. If it weren’t for her,
I wouldn’t have made it though the first two chapters which I found extremely boring. Her voice has that sound that just screams ‘listen to me’. First time listening to her narration and definitely not the last.

Love love loved! Great read!

I absolutely loved this book and the series for that matter. In my opinion, this should have been made into a show or movie instead of Bridgerton and I binged that series over a couple weeks. The grandmother’s carefree attitude but this is how society is added so much flare and humor. I found myself multiple times throughout the story laughing out loud, ooo-ing and awww-ing that my husband actually wanted to know what I was listening too. Highly recommend this book and if you’re a stickler like me for reading a whole series you won’t be sorry. The story of the 3 are great.

"Sweet Ejoyable Romance."

This is the third book in the series and in my opinion it is the best. Also in the series is Miranda Cheevely Secret Diaries and What Happens in London. This is a sweet and simple romance that easily keeps your attention. Rosalyn Landor and Julia Quinn what a great combination
