1yr later & still my favorite series!
This was the first series that I listened to that didn't follow the same main characters from book to book. (Ie: Kate Daniels series, Fever Series, Night Huntress) I was worried that I wouldn't become emotionally invested. I am so invested that I have listened to the entire series at least 2 dozen times, probably more. Book 12 has become my favorite bedtime story.
Do not read these books out of order. The main story arc reaches across all the books. There is a lot to learn about this world in book 1, but you do not need to fully understand it at first. It will all makes sense before you finish book 2. By book 3 you may be hooked on the series like me!
Most of the books are brilliant, but like all series not every book can be perfect for everyone. There was one book (#7) where I didn't care for the main "Hero", but the book shouldn't be missed.
Narration: So far Angela Dawe is my 2nd favorite narrator. (Robert Petkoff being #1) This series has many, many characters so taking that into consideration I truly appreciate Angel Dawe's hard work even if I do notice voices changing slightly from one book to a later book. (Ie: Hawk & Faith)

Awesome!!
What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Angela does a wonderful job with the characters. I enjoyed the narration so much. The story just came to life and felt that I was apart of the story. Looking forward to hear her again.

One of my favorite series
Starting my third time listening to this series. Rich world building. The Psy and Changeling races more engaging to me than similar psychic or shapeshifter realities I have seen. individual characters seem genuine and interesting. They would be good stories even without the sex.

easy listening
What did you love best about Slave to Sensation?
I'm new to this writer. I have been enoying her books, but some have gotten a bit too mushy for me like this one. I think the characters are great and the basic story line is great it's the mushy bits that get dragged out a little

Cute story
Paranormal stories aren't usually my type of thing but this one wasn't that bad. I have a hard time staying engaged when so much of the story happens in the mind as I think I like action books better. However this one had a little bit of action (outside the mental psy abilities). I might try the second book if I can't find any alien romance books in Audible that I haven't heard yet.
