Publisher's summary

Molly Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her childhood and made her the focus of the media's harsh spotlight, she vowed to live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary Fox, a tattooed bad-boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin and a touch that could become an addiction.

Fox promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that he'll be gone forever, his life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence, all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late Molly realizes it isn't only her body that's become addicted to Fox but her heart....

ummmmmmmm

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The beginning was a little lacking for me. No build up, no foundation, no story even established yet, but the main characters are already tearing their clothes off. It seemed like a cliche' porn flick to me - 30 seconds into a scene and suddenly everyone is naked.......

What do you think your next listen will be?

Undecided - not sure if I want to spend more credits on this series with the same narrator.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Justine O. Keef?

Not sure, but not a huge fan of the current narrator

Was Rock Addiction worth the listening time?

I guess so. The story itself is ok. Had to ignore the narrator's breathy interpretation of Molly, and somewhat irritating men's parts.

Excellent story

I loved the characters and storyline but the narrator made it very difficult to truly enjoy the heartfelt emotion of book.

Dirty Love

I love this wonderfully dirty love story. Molly and Fox are two of my favorite characters. Justine O. Keef have a great performance. I highly recommend this book.

An audio performance that enhances a great story

Would you listen to Rock Addiction again? Why?

Yes. Justine O. Keef does a great job with both female and male voices. Totally believable male voices! I loved this story when I read it and I loved it even more after listening to it.

What did you like best about this story?

How Molly and Fox learn to trust and love each other. Both had to overcome traumatic youths that make it hard for them to trust. I also loved the way the guys in the band are great friends. They support each other yet aren't afraid to tell the other if they are screwing up. Great supporting characters also.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Molly pulls Fox out of his studio and tells him to stop brooding. Also, the ending was very sweet!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked how Molly and the guys stood together to face the press after one of the pivotal events in the story. Fox asked the Schoolboy Choir fans to help and they did, even more than the band ever thought they would.

Any additional comments?

My only disappointment was that Molly did not have a Kiwi accent, which would have made the performance perfect. But, if you like rocker romances, Justine O. Keef does an amazing job with the audio. Check out the Sinners on Tour series - you won't be disappointed.

Meh.

I'm 3 hours in and unimpressed. It's got good sex scenes and starts them early, but in between there ain't much plot. The story is set in New Zealand with New Zealanders among the main characters, but so far there has been one, exactly one, person read with a New Zealand accent, and that was an unnamed neighbor with maybe two lines of dialog.

Hero: aggressive male, a few issues, mundane trope.
Heroine: major issues, timid, and rather pathetic.

Bored and moving on. Hoping Ms Singh gets bored and returns to writing about angels that make vampires and the people who get to play catch with runaway vamps. At least those characters all have backbones.

Sweet story

I almost gave up on this story in the beginning, because it got corny at times, but kept listening and it got really good. I enjoyed the book. So glad I didn’t give up on it. I am not a fan of Justine O. Keef. Would have preferred a different narrator.

Great story.. Every girls fantasy..

1 narrator for all the voices didn't quite work for me .. Especially all the many men involved.

I was skeptical.

After eading some of the reviews from previous listeners I was a little skeptical about this book. I'm glad I chose to give it a try!
