Publisher's summary

Reid Buchanan was always a fan favorite on the baseball diamond. But between the sheets?

A spiteful article about the former pitcher and current playboy questions his talent in the bedroom. And the newspaper's just the first bad news. Reid's grandmother Gloria's broken hip means she needs constant care, but Reid hired Nurses 1 and 2 for their bedside manner with him. So for Number 3 he chooses Lori Johnson, the first candidate who seems immune to his brand of charm.

Lori's never wasted her time with amoebas like Reid Buchanan. So why are her well-fortified defenses starting to crumble under the force of his sexy smile and the kindness he shows her at every turn? There's only one explanation for the feelings flaring between them: chemistry. Chemistry so hot, it's sizzling!

Pretty good

This is the second book I've listen to by Susan Mallery and must admit, when I saw her name I immediately put her book in my cart. I love sequels in novels, a continuing story and getting more information on charaters from the last book. It was a fun read. Alyson Silverman is a new favorite narrator.

Sizzling

A humerous twist on a man's sexuality and morals. A reverse Pygmalion with a happy ending.

Light hearted listening.

This was good for some laughs and some drama. The characters were well done and I liked them. The family dynamics that run through the series is interesting and the characters are consistent throughout. Really should read the series in order.

The Bad Boy turns into a Good Man

I was thrilled to see this available and couldn't wait to buy it and listen to it. I love that two of the characters that we thought were either mean or not very thoughtful to others... turned out to be wonderful, caring people.
Don't you just love a happy ending?
Great narrator.

This book is wrong in many ways.

All 3 nurses in this book are totally unprofessional. In real life their licenses would be suspended or revoked. Sleeping with their patient's son, discussing their patient with their own family (breaking confidentiality of patient) and involving the patient in their own personal situations are all grounds for license censuring. Also, cannot believe no one expressed any concern rsgarding sexually transmitted diseases when Reid was so promiscuous that he did not rscognize many of the women that he had sex with. He should have been the one who was sick with Hepatitis C or HIV, etc. When people need organ transplants, they are put on a list to receive one according to the urgency of preserving life and the availability of a matching donor. Reid's pitch on tv did nothing to get a donor and was stupid. The whole premise of the the newspaper story about his sexual inadequacy was ludricous.

Lori sucks

Lori is insecure and jealous of her dying sister. She actually really sucks, and her character flaws don’t really compensate for her limited positives in my opinion.
Reed was made into a less capable character than originally portrayed. He is basically eviscerated in this book, and it was not deserved.
