What did you love best about Shadow's Claim?

I think it was simply the whole story, how it is easy to see yourself in the character when you learned what real love was about and how to differentiate from deep love for a friend.

What did you like best about this story?

The way "Vampire" wouldn't give up and I loved having Lothaire make an appearence.....I could really do with out his so called mate though LOL.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I liked the sarcasm and the bits of comedy in the story it made it much more real and thewhole book was moving one way or another.

What about a Black Female?

Robert us awesome, loved the book, I wish she would do a black female with one of the white male lorens. I'm a black female married to a white male and believe a black female can be some kind of loren, too. IAD, is definitely my favorite paranormal romance series. This is the third time I've read the series.

This was one of my favs in the series and it was so unexpected for me. I didn’t initially recognize the characters mentioned in the description and wasn’t sure I’d be as interested, but boy was I mistaken. I loved hearing more about the world of the “bad” guys and the kingdom of blood and mist. Damn Cole does a good job at keeping the stories interesting and varied enough to keep the reader hooked. I’m amazed at how much I’m still enjoying this series at book 13 and how the stories still remain fresh but are all tied together.

Divine Dacian!!!

I am so hooked on all these IAD books! Each one intrigues me and keeps me wanting more. I'm thrilled that the Dacians have a spin off, as I found them very interesting while listening to Lothaire. Judging from their introduction in Lothaire, and Trehan's (lead male character) story, I think the Dacians series will be an exciting and intense auditory ride for sure. This book had all the variables I needed to make up an excellent listen---swoon worthy male, action, lusty romance interludes, humor and just a little bit of crazy! I am an instant fan and can't wait until there's a book 2. Highly recommended!

Good start to a new series - 4.5 stars

Really 4.5 stars. I liked this book, but I think the tournament scenes went on a little too long. Would have liked a few more romance scenes instead of all the blood, gore & killing. But I like the start of this new series. I like the Dacians. I look forward to learning more about the rest of the cousins and how Elizabeth continues to tame Lothaire. I hope we hear more about Bett & Trehan in future books. This book didn't really explore them as a couple very much. I hope Salem is in future books, he's a hoot! Great narration!

Would you consider the audio edition of Shadow's Claim to be better than the print version?

Absolutely. Robert's voice and acting ability brought the characters to life!

It cannot compare.

Which scene was your favorite?

All of the battle scenes. I also enjoyed the final scene between Trehan and Bettina where he is begging her to love him back. Spectacular!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A Prince without a Kingdom Battles to Win the Queen who Rules His Heart.

LOVE the audio version of this book. I look forward to hearing Mr. Petkoff take on Lothaire and MacReave!

Great Narrator Awesome Story line

Would you listen to Shadow's Claim again? Why?

Great continuation of story of the Dacians. A bit different as the real time intertwining with Lothaire. I was glad when the lead characters finally realized they belonged together, I was not sure it was going to happen.

What about Robert Petkoff’s performance did you like?

He does great male and female voices.

More from the Dacian's, introduced by Lothaire. This listen was great as usual due to both writer and narrator. Peeks of past characters pop up which is always fun, otherwise another blooded male on the hunt to win his female.
