Outstanding
Can’t wait for book two, I loved the book but hate that book two was not available to follow up on the story. I hope it comes out soon before I get caught up in other audio books and forget about this one and how Camila story ends.

This is a great Peaky Blinders meets Divine Rivals mash up. There are beings with abilities, action, a slow burn arranged marriage, betrayal and more in this story.
Def recommend and looking forward to the next book.

Loved this!!
This was so good! I agree with the other reviewers that it has a steampunk/peaky blinders vibe to it and I didn’t know what to think about that going into it but I ended up loving the unique world building. Both the FMC and MMC are fierce in their own right but with kind hearts and I think that’s one of the things I enjoyed most about this book. Can’t wait for book 2! Don’t miss this one!

This book has made it to my top 3 reads of this year. I love it so much and can’t wait for book 2! I loved the banter between the FMC and the MMC. The audio version is perfection!

I. Am. Here. For. This. Peaky blinders meets magic meets amazing narration
Originally I read this book on my kindle. I'd had it preordered for a few months and had my own little countdown for it to come out. Guess what?!? It was so good that I had to buy it in print to live in my bookshelf as the trophy it is. But then. Then the audiobook came out and as a person who lives for audiobooks I had it preordered the day it was announced. And the narrations just adds so freaking much to this book. Sometimes I don’t love when women do male voices or when men do female voices but this time both were phenomenal. Sometimes I found myself asking “wait is this a duet” (it’s not).
Now I'm not going to give you a big ol' review, there are people who are way better at that stuff but I will tell you that this book was like reading a fantasy Peaky Blinders and I AM HERE. FOR. IT. 5 Stars. Take all my money. I can't wait for the next book.

The VA for Nicolai 🤤😰
This was an interesting and original take on an overly saturated genre.
The only reason I can’t rate this 5 stars is because Camilla took a little too long to grow on me.
I would classify this as more of historical fantasy than romantasy, but that’s just me.
A solid 4 star read, and that epilogue…. I’m glad I was given an Advance Reader’s copy of The City of Mirth and Malice!
