Publisher's summary

Briar Rose might have a name out of a storybook, but she learned at a very young age that no prince was coming to save her. She’ll have to save herself.

Unfortunately, even that is an impossible task in her current situation—trapped in a terrifying marriage to a dangerous man.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, which is how she finds herself making a deal with a demon. Freedom from her husband…in return for seven years of service.

She expects the service to be backbreaking and harsh. She doesn’t expect to be put on an auction block in a room full of literal monsters and sold to the highest bidder.

To Sol.

A dragon.

He might seem kinder than his fearsome looks imply, but she knows better than to trust the way he wants to take care of her, or how invested he is in her pleasure. In her experience, if something seems too good to be true, it certainly is.

Falling for Sol is out of the question. She’s suffered enough, and she has no intention of staying in this realm…even if she leaves her heart behind when she returns to her normal life.

The bride

This bill is so boring. It was lacking umpf. There was so much potential to make this book amazing. I will pass on the rest of the series.

Dragons are Cool!

This was a cute story! I only wish there was a little more of the storyline with more dialogue to more of the dragons! I thought the narrators did a good job.

Sweet and seggsy

I love how Briar's past isn't glossed over, but is a large part of who she is. The blooming companionship between Briar and Sol is sweet. and their growing desire is spicy. The narration was good, calm but full of the emotion especially by Lessa Lamb. I enjoyed this very much.

Cozy and Wicked

The entire time I was reading this book I felt like I was getting away with something extremely naughty. The Dragon's Bride is somehow both very steamy and is steamy and cozy at the same time. Fantastically amusing read; highly recommended.

did not enjoy the performance

it was a nice story, if just extremely repetitive in most places.
the female performer was such a slow and breathy speaker, I found myself falling asleep many times.

Story Was Good - But The Narrator…

The story was a good one, and the main character, Sol, had some biological differences that made the physical interactions between the two romantic leads rather interesting. Wait, he’s got two of what?!?

Unfortunately, the narrator ruins it for me. Her intonation is off, and sounds like a Valley Girl trying to pretend she’s a seasoned woman having a private conversation with her boyfriend on the phone. Her delivery is almost sing-songy as well, which is wrong for a book of this genre. I won’t be listening to the other two, and hope they’ll get a different narrator so I can enjoy more of these books. Until then, I’ll be reading instead of listening.

When is the next one coming out!?

I loved Briar and Sol's story! I started to look for the next book in the series before it even ended. The sex scenes were nice and steamy! But, more than that I really enjoyed their relationship. 10/10!

Narration is cringy…

But the story isn’t bad. It’s good for a short book. I just wish there was more details.
